Quality replacement for Kobalt Compressor
If your air compressor leaks at the unloader valve under the regulator, or fails to get up to rated pressure, then the check valve is your problem. Depending on location of your check valve, this is a fairly easy replacement, and will have your compressor running smoothly in no time. The unit is all brass, looks and feels solid and includes outlet for unloader. Fits Sanborn compressors. Sanborn owns several brand names including Powermate and Kobalt.

100% machined brass unit made in the USA! Pictured is side by side with original equipment corroded import part that failed next to brass replacement. New part is made to be easily serviced due to superior engineered design and flawless construction. Received sooner than anticipated. Part fit perfectly and installed without any problems. I would recommend this product and supplier.

Input tube may need to be trimmed, but good product.
My Craftsman compressor lost the check valve ball into the air tank. This replacement worked perfectly and the internal parts are secured with a circlip. The input tube from the compressor head had to be trimmed because the replacement valve had a depth limiter in the inner diameter that the original didn't have. This kept the nut from engaging the threads until the tube end was shortened.

Great quality, solid heavy brass, can diassemble to clean!
This is replacing a badly rusted steel valve, which is crimped together so I can't clean up the seating area. Being brass and held together with a snapring, it's better in every way. It says "Made in US", and the quality looks like it. It does not come with the top compression nut or ferrule, or any side fitting. I'll get these at Lowes locally.

Great ALL Brass Replacement Check Valve
This replaced a steel bodied check valve in a small air compressor. I like the all brass construction for the body of the check valve which should make it much more resistant to moisture as compared to the old one.
