Worked perfectly for my iPod Touch 4th gen. It was dead for years and I finally decided to get a charging cable and this gave it back life! Connected right in, only thing is, it doesn't have those side squeezing parts the oem one had, this one you really gotta yank it out lol

I have a number of old iPods sitting around and have started using them again to stop paying for streaming services. I have purchased multiple of these cables and use them to charge my devices, load music onto my iPod from iTunes, and play music in my car. It works well for all three of those purposes. I have had no issues with it breaking or fraying so far—I have had the cable for about a month. The small velcro fastener is very handy for tying up the cable in places where you don't want the full length—I use it in my car and with my computer.

I bought this charging cable to charge my original model iPad circa ~2012. I needed to charge it to reset it and delete any personal data before giving it up to recycling. It worked great. At least the 11% charge I got in a few hours hooked up to my current Apple 120 Vac to 5 Vdc charger was sufficient to allow me to reset it.,

Still have a few iPods so I still need the 30 pin cable for them. Seems all these cheap knock off cables on the market are hit or miss. Bought this one since it's fairly inexpensive and, so far, it works well. Charges and syncs data so can't really complain there. We'll see how long this one will last.
