COLOR WOW Root Cover Up – Temporary Hair Color Touch-Up

I was hesitant to buy because of the price but it’s worth it! Covers up grays, looks natural and blends right in, No color on my pillowcase and washed out easily. Just touched it up until my next wash. Good product for that week before your next color.

Color Wow was recommended by my stylist. I usually get grey roots covered, but using this lessens the frequency. Since it is water and sweat proof, I can swim and not be concerned about the coverage disappearing. I ordered dark blonde.This product saves money and time.

Well, I'm giving it a really good testing. I'm letting my hair grow out to do a hair analysis and so my hair has to be grown out about 1 1/2" to test the natural hair. This stuff really covers the grey well and it stays on for long time. I think if you just have to touch up a 1/2" or so, it wouldn't take to long but with mine grown out so long it takes quite a while because I have to do the underneath layers on top as well because when my hair divides, you can see the grey roots. Because of the time it takes to cover, I only wash my hair every 3 to 5 days and I can say it does stay on. There might be a few places around my face that I touch up but I'm impressed on how well it does stay on. I have noticed that my scalp does get a little itchy where I used the cover up after a few days. They state to use the small end of the brush but I use the long end and just dab it because I have so much to cover otherwise I'd never get it done. My hair is more of a golden ash blonde so the color I chose was dark blonde and it seems to work for me as a winter color. It is January right now as I write this. I may try a lighter color next time especially since I will have highlights when I finally get my hair colored again. I won't have so much to cover either. All in all, I like the product. Didn't really check to much into the ingredients since I was desperate for something to cover my grey when I ran out of Mineral Fusion's grey root concealer. I really like that product too, their light brown matches my golder hair color but they are out of stock. At least I had the chance to find Color Wow. A much better price as Mineral Fusion's didn't last to long, making it a lot more expensive. If your looking for a grey root color, this does a good job in my opinion.

Works pretty good. My daughter recommended this as our roots show within a week of coloring. Thankful to be able to touch up quickly.

Difficult to use, didn’t really cover my roots. Had to use too much to cover a small area.

I expected to be blown away but after using cheaper products I can't see any difference from $7 brands. Nothing about it justifies the the ridiculous $34 price. Brush is all wrong. Same with other brands. I had to buy a blush brush to quickly do my middle part and around my face, otherwise the little brush just sort of paints your scalp with gold dots and doesn't do much for your hair. I have the blonde. It does look natural and I like it but I'll never spend $34 for it again!

This is the best grey root coverup product I have found, and though it is expensive, it lasts me a LONG time. I was unsure about what colour to buy - I have light brown hair with blonde highlights and wanted something to use on roots in between salon visits. I ended up getting Dark Blonde and it has worked well for me - slightly lighter than my natural hair colour but blends in well with my highlights. It looks completely natural, doesn't make my hair stiff or sticky or powdery-looking at all. Great product.

This is great for covering grey; not just roots but hairline greys as well. Lasts until next shampoo, waterproof and easy to apply. Great for hand luggage as there is no liquid to worry about. Although expensive, it lasts ages. Dark blonde is a good colour match.
