Great product. To get to the 8ths you needed to use the app but all good once we figured that out

Overall I am really liking the device all the extra features.+Leica has the most support across the board for reading from the device strait into their app or directly into PC CAD software.+Bluetooth also just shows up a keyboard even if you don't use their app, ie I have it send measurements to a spreadsheet on my phone.+The battery life is much better than my older 6+ year old bosch.+ Screen ends up being easier to read than my older bosch.+Upgradable it has special tripod adapter the DST 360 (yes it is expensive) . It allows you to stay in one spot and measure from any two points you see. I could for example stand in the center of a room and measure everything in the room without moving. . The adapter has electronics in it that measures the angle very precisely and talks to the laser measure. Using the angles from the DST 360 the laser measure does a bunch of trigonometry to calculate the distance between any two points.-Bluetooth seems to flaky with my phone at times, might be my phone or device. Though they can update the firmware on the device.Note: If you have a failed firmware update, just let the laser measure stay on for about 15 minutes , the laser measure will revert to the original firmware and restart and you will be working again.

It is a great product and I use it almost every day to measure for window coverings and flooring and it works like a charm I just wish I would have gotten the us version because it has different settings that would have made measuring windows easier but the product still works great

This laser is so worth the money! Easy to sync and so convenient

I bought this in Sept. 2019, so I've had it approximately 8 months. I haven't dropped it but I use it often as a tool for my job.Unfortunately, it has started turning off and malfunctioning. I've never had this kind of thing happen with other laser measuring devices. Considering the price and the great name associated with Leica products I'd never expect this to happen. It's a great tool (durable, easy to use, easy to read), but that doesn't matter if it doesn't work. Unless Leica takes care of this issue for me I won't buy another.
