A well thought out product: this is a well built,simple to use device controller for maintaining a set temperature in a “closed environment”. The Temperature Probe appears to be top quality and has successfully kept a near (+or - 2* buffer) perfect 76 degrees:In my set up when the 2 degrees over temp I previously selected is detected- The controller switches on an intake fan- bringing cold night time air in- plus I turn on my 8” charcoal exhaust filter system ( to the outside) to remove old hot air build up. The goes on until the unit detects the low set point you have determined in advance and the switches devices off.

At first I thought it was defective. I set the temp range at 2 degrees, but the cooling would not start until the temp had risen 10 or more degrees. I discovered a video on youtube, and it explained the problem I was having. I was able to fix the problem, and now everything is running perfectly. Hopefully, this will be a tool I will be using for many years to come!

Works as advertised. The programming is a bit hard to understand but once you figure it out, the unit works fine.

With two basic functions, it is a time-consuming pain to select cool or heart. This is where many designers fall intoa trap of saving a button at the expense of non-intuitiveness. I must have brought a dozen different brandsand this ranks at the bottom. It has an additional negative feature of turning off the display after a short period of time. Now this is a truly clueless design since the low-powered lcd display is dim at best. Why turn it off as the light is so dim it won't bother anyone? I normally take a glance at the display on my other controllers, from about 10 ft away to confirm all is OK. But here, I gotta go up close and click on the display. What an user unfriendly design.

Got this for a temporary greenhouse on our deck. We've had several freezing nights, and everything is working fine so far (~one month). The set-up looked complex, but it was really about simply setting a target temperature; everything else was kinda not so important. I gave 4 stars for Temperature Control and Accuracy, but they could be 5 stars too, I don't know yet. Anyway, for a decent price, I get heating in my greenhouse only when I need it.

I purchased this item 2 weeks ago. Set it up on the wine-freezer to limit the temperature and maintain a constant 51 degrees F with a range of 50 - 52.5 degrees. I also set high and low alarms. For 2 weeks, it worked well.Inside this converted wine-fridge were 5 bottles of 2006 dom perignon, 1 bottle of 2002 dom perignon, and 1 bottle of 2002 ROSE dom perignon, along with numerous other bottles of $50-100 wine for aging. Also inside the wine-fridge, I placed a terrarium heater to heat in case the wine-fridge temperature went below the low set point (50 degrees F) since the unit is located in the garage.After just 2 weeks of use, we returned home from a weekend away to hear the unit alarming. I checked the screen and it says "AH" ... which means "alarm high". At this point I opened the freezer and to my HORROR noticed that many corks were nearly out and the prize of our wine collection, the 2002 ROSE Dom Perignon, had EXPLODED. Inside the wine-fridge I had two additional thermometers, both of which were still reading ~52 degrees F, despite the Digiten LCD Thermostat displaying "AH". I checked the connection to the thermostat wire, no problem. I checked the location of the end of the thermostat wire, it was still inside the wine-fridge submurged in the tub of water I keep it in in there.SO WHAT HAPPENED? Apparently the DIGITEN thermostat FAILED and caused the freezer to run until all the wine had frozen. At what point it turned off, I'm not sure. But it froze every bottle of wine in there, costing me ~$1500 worth of wine/champagne.DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT. It has no safeguard to prevent against it malfunctioning and running the "cool" side constantly. Terrible design and I am LIVIDLY upset with this company. I have bought literally thousands of products off of amazon and never have I had something this poorly designed and prone to failure. It had only been in use for 2 weeks and we have had no thunderstorms or other anomalies here. Also, the ambient temperature outside has been between 45-70 degrees.Again, DO NOT BUY OR USE THIS PRODUCT. Pictures of the evidence and carnage attached.

could not get a freezer to maintain a 42 degree temp. for my kegs of home brew . hooked this up and keeps it above freezing and does not let it go above 42 degrees.

The way I am using the device is very simple and straight forward compared to what this device is capable of doing.I have to use and adapter plug because we use a different plug setup here in SA so only downside is I am only able to use the cooling or heating function at one time because the adapter closes the other plug slots up a bit. Luckly I only need the one function so no big deal for me. Just something to keep in mind if you use a different plug setup and need to use an adapter. Other than that it just works.

Works perfect. Nice clean unit. No issues after a month of use. Fast shipping. Only thing is make sure you don’t need to use it for anything above 10 amps as it’s only rated for 10. I have a 1500w heater that I can only use in 700w mode. My fault tho the description does say this. It’s a really great little unit tho and It’s working perfect for controlling the heat in my grow room.Update: working amazing after over a year in use. Worked so well I bought another.

Wow! This thing works great for my heat plate and heat belt for Beer and Wine making. Easy to set up and use. It comes in a very protective package 📦 so it won’t get damaged during shipping. Worth every penny. I bought 2 and will definitely buy more when I scale up my beer and wine production.

Works excellent. Had to read setup a few times to get it. Easy to understand how layperson would have difficulty.
