Connie went through a horrible crime against her. In her darkness, she found a light. That light was Corey. She clung to him emotionally and physically. He knew that she needed to step out on her own. She had to find herself again as she had a lot to overcome and deal with. After years of only seeing each other occasionally, Corey was the one who needed help. Connie and Corey are great together. I loved how it wasn't an easy journey for them separately or together. Their story immediately captured my attention and I didn't want to put it down. Really enjoyed this story.

I enjoyed learning a bit of Connie's story and Corey's story in LOVE LUST & LIFE, but this is their stories in their POV. Their story is a perfect example that we can go through some hard times and even horrific times to finally get to a good place. An enjoyable read!

This book is a great read from the beginning to the end. You get hooked on the characters immediately and you just can't stop reading.
