I am very pleased with the Calsuno Silicone Steamer and I believe this is the best steamer I've ever used. It is useful for veggies, chicken, fish etc. We've steamed broccoli, brussels sprouts, carrots, cauliflower and squash in here so far. Everything turns out perfect. I have used this 3 times already as part of my Instant Pot, and I love it! The vegetables don't get all mushy from them sitting in water boiling.Moreover, the retractable feet on the bottom keeps the food out of the water. It doesn't get hot and is so easy to clean by hand or dishwasher and doesn't scratch a thing. Very sturdy! This is exactly what I needed. I don't really know what else to say other than its great! This is perfect for my family of 3! Great product!

Good product but for some reason, it has a white film that I can't get rid of.It's a tight fit in a 4qt pressure cooker, but it's doable. I'll bet it's a perfect fit in 6 and 8qt though. Worth the money.

LOVE THESE SILICONE STEAMERS. BOUGHT ONE GREEN AND ONE RED. SO EASY TO USE, & YOU CAN MANIPULATE IT TO FIT IN ALMOST ANY SIZE POT. WHEN YOUR DONE STEAMING YOUR FOOD YOU CAN WASH IT AND THEN JUST ROLL IT UP AND STICK IT IN A KITCHEN DRAWER OR CABINET SHELF, TAKING UP VERY LITTLE SPACE. NICE SIZE AND HANDLES ARE A PLUS. JUST DON'T OVERLOAD IT IF YOU PLAN ON USING HANDLES TO LIFT IT OUT OF POT.. BETTER TO USE TONGS TO TAKE FOOD OFF STEAMER AND THEN LIFT EMPTY STEAMER OUT OF POT TO CLEAN. VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE.

From the picture, I expected this steamer to be like the Chef'n one I already have, a discontinued model. But the silicone is so thick to the outer rim that the steamer does not fit easily in a pot that is less than 9" in diameter such as my 3.5 quart saucepan. I think it would work fine in a pot large enough for it to lie flat.

I have had silicone steamer baskets similar to this one before and been very satisfied with them. This one is awful. There is nothing wrong with the material it's made of. It withstands the heat just fine. The problem is solely a design flaw. The "legs" on the underside of the basket are way too short - not even half an inch. This leaves only two bad options for using it to cook food. The first bad option is to put so little water in the pan that it will all boil out before the food is even fully cooked (and risk charring the pan in the process). The second bad option is to put enough water in the pan to last the full the full cooking time but in doing so, the boiling water will soak the food. A steamer is supposed to cook food by *steaming* it - not by boiling it. Of course there is a third option - constantly check the water level every 30 seconds or so and keep it at optimum level a few tablespoons at a time. Sorry.... That's a non-starter. In short, this steamer is too short... Don't short yourself by buying this turkey...

I love this silicone steamer for its ease of use and ease of cleaning. Be careful to not allow the edges and handles to reach out over the pan as they may burn.

Not as flexible as I would have liked, but it works pretty well.
