Thanks for your question. The Namner 250m WAXED THREAD is made of polyester and wax. Besides, it is a flat waxed thread / 150D, which is suitable to be used for DIY or repairing leather items.

Q: what is the diameter/ size of the thread ?

Quite thick maybe 1mm? It’s very strong perfect for leather work or canvas work it also has a good helping of wax so will seal itself as soon as it’s used mine also came with the appropriate size needles in different shapes for different work I hope this helps
