SUPCASEUnicorn Beetle Pro Full-Body Rugged Holster Case for Google Pixel 5A (2021 Release), Tilt

I picked this case because the Unicorn Beatle case I got for my iPad 6 yrs ago is still going strong and has protected it from a zillion drops and scratches by my kids. The iPad looks like new when I remove it from that case. I KNOW it is going to keep my new phone safe. I picked it ONLY for use when I'm hiking or backpacking where I am more likely to break my phone. The clip holster attaches to my backpack straps making it easy/fast to grab as it clips in and out of the holster easily. The buttons and cut outs are well placed and I don't have to push extra hard or anything. I like the screen protector and it doesn't mess up ease of use. I've dropped my phone a few times on the trail (rocks) and in camp (dirt) without issue. It is definitely bulky and the rubbery corners make it hard to pull in and out of a pants pocket. Easy fix but I don't always bother to switch the holster to my pants. My hands are small so I use a popsocket and I'm able to keep that on and use the holster. This does everything I need it to. It's perfect for rough times on the trail. I don't need the same level of protection on the daily so I use a slimmer case at home. It's a bit of a pain to get this case off (easy on though) but it's worth it for the protection when I need it. I've broken 2 other phones on trail so I don't want to mess around this time.

I wore out the first case after a year. Plastic does become a tad brittle over time. Still a very well designed product that fits snug and does a great job of protecting the phone.

Update: I just realized that 5 years ago I bought another SUPCASE for an ipad and it is in perfect condition. My ipad has survived drops and falls and still feels brand new.I am still loving this case oh so much. I love how it grips and feels in my hand. The screen is still perfectly sensitive. Highly recommend this brand!!!I am loving this case. It's beautiful, sturdy and rugged. Loving the metallic color. I saw alot of complaints about the plastic screen protector, but it's not a problem for me. In fact, my phone was working just fine and the original screen was falling off so this case is helping keep it all together. I have not noticed any issues with touch sensitivity either. All in all 10/10, I love this beautiful strong case!!!

I really do like the case - the design and what feels like the sturdiness. It's just too bad that it has to come with the screen and holster.I already scratched the screen digging it out of the case to put the phone in it, and it smears quite easily. Undoubtedly I will remove it with an exacto knife as others have described.And that holster - it feels great and sturdy, but why? Do most people really use this? I tossed mine somewhere and couldn't even guess where it is now...who cares?Overall, I am quite happy with the case, but I wish there was an option to buy it without the screen and the holster.

Pixel 5 a:Yeah, it's bulkier than most.. If you were looking for a pocketable case, this is probably not your best choice, but you would really have to blame yourself. Still... I would say thinner or same when compared to matching Otterbox cases.Kickstand is sturdy and stands askew which helps with propping it on odd surfaces. The red case is a pretty solid red (not pink or purplish) and it stands out enough that it is hard to leave behind (which is a feature I look for in a case). The touch screen cover is also completely workable. Since I like their style so much i do wish they would make a couple of colorful Google-phone cases that lacks the screen cover.

I had used Otterbox cases before but they weren't available for my Pixel 5a with 5g. Researched a lot, which I do, asnd decided on the case. I've been very pleased. Had it 5 mos. now. Dropped it a time or two accidentally but no breakage problems. Kickstand is good, esp for horizontal viewing, even with charger in place. I love a case with a clip and they're hard to find. I am as lady but love to clip my phone into my pocket or to my crossbody purse for easy but secure access when traveling light. Can clip it to a pocket of my tote bag. I feel evure it won't fall out. This has been as good or a better case than previous Otterboxes and even at a cheaper price. Recommend you try it!

I bought my phone back in late November of 2021 (Google Pixel 5a) and purchased the black version of this phone case. I only decided last week to get a new phone case because I had dropped my phone really hard and shattered the glass screen protector. The phone case was in tact, but I had broken the hard shell and a portion of the kickstand. I probably could have continued using it because it was functional, but I was buying a new screen protector anyways and the cosmetic damage after a year and a half of use was fairly noticeable.Tip: if you want to really protect your screen, don’t rely on the plastic film. In both cases of purchasing this phone, I have popped out the plastic to use a glass screen protector. I tried using both tempered glass and the built in plastic, but I lost functionality of the touchscreen. I personally think this also looks far better.

I've used this brand of products for years and I keep coming back. It makes the device easy to grip and gives drop protection to years worth of my Androids.New to this generation (to me) is the kickstand on the back. Super handy for holding the phone upright while you're viewing a tutorial or for an improv chat session. Works horizontally and vertically.It is a pain to get off, but the need to do so is rare.

Product packaging was slightly flimsy, looked like it was just put together into a case and shipped, wasnt seal wrapped or anything, but thats a non issue. inside the box it was wrapped well and no dust or dirt was on my product after removing.Installation is not tricky, fairly straight forward with their 4 step instructions but do require a little bit of force which can feel scary but as long as u understand to peel away the lip while prying the top part of the case out, it should be fine.installation after that was a breeze, just snap on the front screen protector piece and put into the case make sure the lip sits flush and ur good to go.built in screen protector doesnt require any fancy installation, none of the wedge thingy that u scrape to take out the bubbles. it naturally sits on top of the screen perfectly with no bubbles SO FAR. there are also zero issues with touch screen response. after heavy use i will update accordingly.the kickstand thing on the back is useful, it flicks out with a little bit of prying force applied, and in its loose form u can slide a finger and it will help hold ur device without having to keep ur pinky underneath the phone. if u open the kickstand all the way until it kind of "clicks", it will lock into place for its desired function as a kickstand and the locking of the stand feels sturdy on its initial few uses. also comes with another case meant to latch onto ur belt as a holster. good solid design and the holster clip seems very sturdy. once again all these experiences may change after heavy or prolongued use and i will be sure to update this review in the case of any degradation of experience. i have not and am not interested in testing out its most key selling point which is drop protection. but im sure i will unwittingly test it out at some point. if it fails i will tell u guys. but for now im giving this item 5 stars. and im saying it SEEMS like a solid product, no bad designs, and no bad engineering, nothing inconvenient. overall a good buy

I bought this case because a review said it was "ugly as sin" but very rugged. Rugged is what I was looking for after my last case failed on me, so I bought this.I am confident in their design, the phone is isolated from the hard plastic of the case by an air gap around the sides, so I believe it will perform very well. I don't know yet because I haven't broken my phone yet. So I guess that's good news.I absolutely love how it looks! It's gorgeous, though apparently some disagree, I think this case is very handsome. It's well-made, has a nice, grippy feel to it (even the plastic parts) and the thing doesn't even make the phone too big. (I do have large hands, though. My wife says it's a little big for her hands)I like the phone stand, I actually use it all the time! It can hold the phone horizontally like other cases or vertically, because it's placed so close to the bottom!I like that the ports are covered, that's nice since I often work in a dusty environment, it does decrease the amount of debris that gets in the headphone jack or charging port. The plastic screen it comes with does render my anti-fingerprint glass screen protector kinda useless, and dust gets behind it more often than not, plus it really makes the phone much less sensitive, so I may cut that off in the future, but for now, I am enjoying the extra layer of protection.All-in-all, I would recommend this case! I was always an OtterBox defender guy, but they don't make it for this model, so I am trying the Unicorn Beetle. Very pleased so far!

フルカバータイプが。日本製で無かった。手帳タイプが多く、Kindle用はあったけど、スマートフォン用が欲しかった。前回サイズが解りづらかったので。他の、iPhoneやAQUOS、Galaxy用は形や大きさが変化しすぎるので、フルカバータイプが無いですね。間違えて、６インチ用買った、でも、返品して無い。今回５インチ用買った、欠点は、説明不足、挿絵だけで何とか装着。以前。Kindlefire用で使用した事が有るので、何とか装着出来たです。欠点は、カメラ部分です。カメラ部分のカバーに。光が反射して、映り込みする。月や光源に。残光が二重写りする事。充電コードは差し込み口が、深いので、Ｃタイプコードの形がスマートなデザインがいいですね。Googleフォン純正コードは問題無く、差し込み出来ましたね。

Case is well built and solid. Big fan of the way they notch in the fingerprint sensor access, makes it easier to find than when using the phone bare.I thought the stand capability was gimmicky at first but find myself using it more than expected and it's a nice convenience.Only complaint is the plastic screen protector. It doesn't always sit flat on the screen and degrades the image quality too much in my opinion. I removed mine and instead added a glass based alternative on the phone directly.The size of the phone with the extra case bulk is about at the limit of what I find comfortable to carry in front pockets of jeans.The button feedback still feels positive and tactile and the access port plugs seem like they will hold up a long time.Recommended but get rid of the plastic protector by boiling that piece and softening the glue and then install a glass protector instead.
