Every night I packed the dinner left overs into this for my next days lunch. Just enough for me though. This was optimal since they would of been thrown away, unless you have a way to keep it safer as cooler space was not available. Next day at lunch I was enjoying lasagna to stir fry. Yum. The sandwiches got old on a 24 day trip. Easy to clean and never leaked. So now I ordered a second one for my wife for the next river trip.

I like the way it looks and the fact that tehre is no plastic, but it just does not woirk at keeping food hot, or even warm. It is cold after 3 hours.The other weakness is the handle and lid design. It is very difficult to open, and the handle is easy to break, breaking the silicone at the same time.I would return if I could, will not buy again.

I love this container! I've been using it everyday for lunch. It's great and the perfect size. No leaking. I'm very impressed with the fact it's 100% plastic free. Packaging was also plastic free.

I have tried this insulated container with both hot and cold items (soup and yogurt) and it worked perfectly at keeping the food the right temperature. It’s a good size for a single serving. It’s also stylish. Cleaning it was easy. I highly recommend this product.

At first glance, this looks like a really nice quality canister but after living with it for a couple weeks, it's already failed and I found its dirty secret - THE LID IS NOT INSULATED! This makes complete sense now because I wasn't impressed with the temperature holding ability compared to vessels that I know have insulated lids.I didn't get to my oatmeal in the morning yesterday so it cooled off so much that the canister created a vacuum that I couldn't overcome by grabbing the whole lid and twisting, so I tried to use the handle for some extra leverage and it immediately pulled out of the lid and cut both silicone handle grommets. Once the handle was off, the bamboo lid can be pulled off the top and wouldn't you know it, there's a little disk of plywood under the bamboo. That really ticked me off and I got this product for free - I can only imagine how swindled I would have felt if I paid for it out of pocket.The entire lid is single wall stainless steel and the edges (especially the handle holes) are very sharp and no wonder the silicone failed, it never had a chance against a stainless steel knife!! The lid is just an overall terrible design and will never hold up to more than half a dozen uses. Don't waste your time, find a canister that's truly insulated and has better engineering. Now I've got a very expensive holder for my pens and pencils...

This is a very attractive container. If you take it to work and have it sitting on your desk it will garner compliments. The top looks like bamboo (cant tell though) and it has an attractive wavy design on the top.I like the big handle and it's easy to use, even with gloves on.It is absolutely waterproof and will hold a vacuum if steam condenses. The little tab on the silicone seal can be pulled to relieve the vacuum so it can be unscrewed. Works great.I dropped one star because the insulation did not quite live up to my expectations. Other than that it is OK. Price point is a bit high.

This food thermos has a really unique and sleek design. It looks great quality and expensive. The functionality is not the greatest, I thought the handle was really cool with the lid but the handle is not used that often and the bamboo is just for decor. The way the lid screws on is not the most seamless. It can be hard to open or close properly at times. There is a band that is supposed to help lock in the heat but I’m not sure how much it helps. It stays in place and everything appears to be good quality. My food stays hot about 40% of the time and Luke warm and sometimes even cold the rest. It works fine I just think there’s better options out there. It fits a soup can and a good portion although it is a bit small. It could be cool for hiking or on the go but I wouldn’t say it’s compact. Everything has stayed in tact fine besides a cylinder metal piece at the bottom fell off. It’s easy to clean, not dishwasher safe but a nice stainless steal. Definitely keeps food cold! I like it overall and would recommend but might try something different next time around for hot food for daily lunches
