Travelon Anti-Theft Classic Convertible Crossbody & Waist Pack

I absolutely love this Travelon bag! This is my second one, and I can't say enough about the quality and thoughtful engineering that goes into their designs. I recently returned from a trip to Europe and wore this bag every single day. It was the perfect companion for both travel and everyday use at home.What stands out to me the most is the security features. The RFID protection gives me peace of mind, and the slash-resistant materials along with the zippered compartments that lock make it incredibly safe and secure. I felt confident knowing my belongings were protected.One of the best features is the versatility in how the bag can be worn. It can be used as a crossbody or as a waist bag, which is a huge bonus for me. After a long day of sightseeing, my neck can sometimes get sore, but the waist option helps distribute the weight and gives me more comfort and balance.Although it might look small, it’s surprisingly roomy and holds all the essentials without feeling bulky. I got it in the Nutmeg color, which is a gorgeous, rich neutral that goes with everything.I highly recommend this bag to anyone who needs a stylish, functional, and secure option for travel or everyday use. Travelon has definitely won me over again!

Wow. I took a chance on buying this after reading other reviews. This is the best travel bag I ever WORE. Yes for a month I traveled to countries notorious for pickpockets. I think just the sight of the zipper locks was a deterrent. This bag is so durable — I practically wore it all day (12-16 hrs/day) as a fanny pack. I hiked, ran, climbed, ziplined and walked while wearing it and it still looks like new! It was very roomy—I carried 3 passports, 2 iPhones, lots of foreign currency (3 countries), credit cards, and even a pack of tissues. Apart from the features mentioned in the manufacturer’s description, there is also an inner zipped pocket — perfect for stashing larger amounts of currency. I also liked that the bag is easily convertible from a fannypack to a crossbody, so it was both sporty and dressy. It’s lightweight and also not bulky. I would give it 6 stars if I could. Lots of value for the price. Best travel purse ever!

Purchased in Midnight/Navy which was a good choice. First, I love blue and second, the dark color doesn't show dirt--which when traveling, items have more of a chance of getting dirty. The fabric, adjustable strap and zippers are extremely durable. The anti-theft features make me feel more secure in those areas where there is more petty theft. I've had this for a few years (late review!) and it's just now showing some small signs of wear. I love the size--almost! I always carry my sunglasses and my case is a bit large. It barely fits. Wish it was another inch in width. This fits my id, credit cards, passport, iphone and sunglass case (snug) but not much more. It's great for local wear to the grocery, etc. When I use it for travel I also carry a backpack. I also recently purchased a larger Travelon antitheft purse for travel when I'm not also using a backpack.

This is a cute little handbag. I can tell you that I haven't used the bag yet but would like to offer my input so far... The material is nice, the color is pretty, the interior is lined nicely with room for credit cards and passport or other and it has exterior locks for security. I don't see any issues with the stitching being uneven or loose. The interior zipper closes smoothly as too, the main bag exterior zipper and does not snag on the internal lining when closing. It's not a large bag and will limit you with what you carry, probably a small comb, keys, lipstick, a small coin case and your iPhone. You can use the exterior pocket for your phone but I would fear the phone may fall out. The strap is long and adjustable. UPDATE: Finally, I used this bag and it's great, comfortable and easy to use. I would recommend.

Update: 14 January 2024 - I only just wrote the original review a few says ago, and it was 5 star! But now I feel I must bump this down two stars because I’ve only been using this bag for about 1 month (I bought it 2 months ago) and the stitching along the main compartment zipper is already coming loose. Luckily, I noticed it right away and can probably hand-stitch it down and keep it from continuing to fail. But I haven’t even traveled yet with this bag! I’ve been using it on my daily walk with my dog, or to run short errands, just to try out using it as crossbody or waist pack, or shoulder bag, and seeing what I can fit in it. I REALLY like the bag but I’m not going to take this traveling, especially as in the spring I’m going overseas. I suppose I could return it as the window is open till 31 January. I would feel badly trying to do that since I’ve used it. It’s just frustrating that something that seemed so well-designed failed so simply.Original: I bought this bag to use when traveling next month. It will fit inside my personal item in the plane. I’ve been using it while doing errands around town and while walking my dog just to test it out. I would have liked the strap to be able to extend a little longer for crossbody wear but that’s just personal preference. It is ok for wearing crossbody close and secure to my body, which is what is intended. I realized belatedly that it is probably not long enough to hold my ticket/boarding pass. But, if I get a bigger bag it defeats my purpose of just keeping a minimal amount of “stuff” in it. If it were the same overall space area, but just a bit less square and more rectangular it would probably be perfect! But that doesn’t mean the bag itself isn’t a great bag. The strap and bottom are reinforced, it has nice pockets and I can secure the zippers. I love the purple color I got!

I loved the size and functionality of this purse. It held everything I needed for my trip. My problem is that after about a week of using this for the first time, the top seam came apart. I was not expecting this from this bag. I am disappointed with this since I do take care of my handbags. I would love to hear from the manufacturer concerning this.
