An easy and fast read that tells you how to create a safenet around your child's You Tube usage. I was completely in the dark and my 8 year old LOVES You Tube. He learns so much from it, but he was also watching videos posted by teens that were just not appropriate for him. This book gave me the ability to control what he sees without completely taking You Tube away from him. Highly recommend!!

It's a minefield out there for our kids regarding the internet and youtube is here to stay and this book really allows parents to understand youtube better and why kids love it so much. There are some great tips and resources given as well as conversation starters for different ages. She really encourages you to have an open all round conversation with your kids from making videos to dealing with cyberbullying and setting up a safe youtube account. I would really recommend this book for parents who want their kids to get the best out of youtube.

I'd highly recommend this guide to anyone with children. It's easy to read, and provides excellent insight and knowledge about how to navigate a world that can contain a lot of inappropriate content for young people. I especially liked the interactive brainstorming spaces and age specific questions to open dialogue with children.
