Yeedi vac 2 pro Robot Vacuum with Authentic Self Empty Station

Love this vacuum, such a great idea. I brought the vacuum / mop with the tower to make it as Auto as possible. Set up was simple and easy to follow.It works best if vacuums/mops every day. Even so I'm surprised how much it picks up every day. I don't think it would cope well if the floor was really dirty. The first time I cleaned before with my regular vacuum, then afterwards had Yeedi clean. Then every day is just a maintenance clean, it this does brilliantly. Around every week I vacuum any hard to reach spots like corners with my regular vacuum.I mop a couple of times a week and stay around while that's happening. I have the water on the highest flow, and change the mop pad every 5 or so mins for a clean one. I dampen them before I put a new one on, at the same time I check and top up the water, I find this cleans best. I have 400' square space hard floor space to clean and I usually change the mop 7-8 times during the clean. Otherwise the dirt just compacts in the mop and I can't imagine it can clean well with a dirty mop and no way to clean it. I purchased a 100 pack of mop pads which are reusable for a number of cleans.One thing to note is that the water chamber must be completely dry on the outside, especially around the metal connection prongs. At the end of the clean or when the unit goes back to the charging station, you need to be around to remove the water tank before the charging starts.One of my dogs would love to play fight with "Geaves", I don't leave them alone together.

I bought this product because of several customer reviews, YouTube reviewers and review websites. However, when I started to use it, it never made it to the charging station because it didn't have the traction to climb into the charging station, so that also mean it never emptied the dust bin. I constantly got stuck and confused when cleaning, there were instances where it kept going in circles in the same 4-5 sq ft for about 20 minutes. I got tired of babysitting this expense piece of uselessness.

all i had to do was add water to the robot tank. set up the app on my phone. and zoom, off it went. I have it run every-other-day to vaccume and lightly water-mop the floors. we have ceramic tile throughout. it takes it about 50-70 minutes to do it all. it even empties itself when it gets back to the docking station. I just have to add water to the tank. it does the rest. it has never gotten lost or failed to finish the whole floor. perfect!

This product doesn’t perform as advertised! I have tried the one that begins with “R” and wanted a model that did more and had greater suction for dog hair and small bird feathers. It was supposed to be twice as strong; but it wasn’t noticeably any stronger. It couldn’t complete mapping of my 2000 sq ft home. If it was in mop and vacuum mode; it would only mop and didn’t do a good job at all. It created better cleaning patterns in the carpet; but never picked up well period! I emptied it regularly as it would collect lint and some dust. It made me long for my heavy old Kirby and the old fashioned mop and squeeze bucket! Total waste of money!

The thing kept getting lost and would not return to the docking station.

I got my Yeedi as a Christmas gift (about 8 months ago) and at first it was great. Got lost often and often times wouldn't get backed to the self-empty station on its own, but when it did manage it self-emptied just fine and picked up everything pretty well.Fast forward to 6 months later, the self-emptying station stopped working for no reason. I've looked for clogs, cleaned the filter, replaced the dust bag, nothing worked. So that's not a useless feature, it's just a big charger now.And now, after changing the mainbrush, the whole vacuum doesn't work. It doesn't even suck things up into the dust bin, and it's on the highest setting. The dirt and hair just get stuck in the brush and leaves clumps all over the floor that I have to constantly pick up. To top it off, customer service is trash. I emailed them saying I want to return everything and get a refund, but they ignore messages that have to do with returns. Funny, because they respond to messages telling me to troubleshoot when I report a problem, but when I say I've tried troubleshooting and the problems still persist, radio silence. So I guess they're super against honoring the 1 year warranty. I've put 2 tickets in and have sent 3 emails about trying to start a return, and no response. Just stay away and get another brand.

I review these things (read got it for free,) and worked with the Yeedi Vac Max before, and the Yeedi Vac 2 Pro this time. Both have the same issues in four different testing locations. The physical hardware is great - lemme tell you, you want a puck vac that mops? This is it. The floor will shine. Second best mopping bot I've reviewed... except it will never dock, and you have to start it on the mopping surface because the Yeedi Vac 2 Pro will refuse to traverse carpet if the mop is installed.You'll be frustrated that such a good piece of hardware comes with the mapping ability of a dead rodent and takes weeks to complete an initial map of relatively small spaces.On the good side however, extremely good vacuum, second best mopping.
