I connected 2 HDMI Monitors & 2 USB devices. In less than 24 hours it stopped working and I can smell burning stench coming out of it. 🤦‍♂️Paid $78 and no value. I hope Amazon can return this piece of **** or at least replace with something similar.

✍️ I use this dock to expand ports mainly for my Windows 11 Lenovo laptop and Surface Pro tablets. The main highlight is that I can easily expand to another monitor with an HDMI video connection. I like how it's plug and play with Windows 10 and Windows 11. I travel often for work. The small USB hub like size makes it easy to carry around in my laptop bag. The three extra USB ports are a pleasant bonus. The only detractor I can think of is that it's only HDMI. If I wanted to connect to a displayport monitor, I would have to bring an extra cable or adapter. I ordered this product to have a solution to my work from home routine.The "setup" is fast and easy - just had to plug it in. No need to install drivers or something like that.I could easily connect Ethernet cable + 2 monitors + mouse dongle. Everything worked smooth and stable.What I really like is the option to connect it to your phone (I'm using Android). I was able to connect my phone directly to the router with a LAN cable, it can really help when you need a faster/stable internet connection and also a low ping.I also tried to connect it to another phone (Oneplus 6), but it didn't work. I guess that the mobile device was too old for that. It worked great on other phones (such as Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21 and some more).

The BASEUS is a good looking device, it feels top quality with its metal alloy body and smart appearance. I even like the little orange flash on the USB-C plug! Also, being a fan of all things LED and "gadgety" the ice blue large indicator lamp on the body of the BASEUS is definitely a winner. Blimey, there's even a hole to push the USB-C plug into when you aren't using it, thereby protecting the plug tip. So, is it worth the £25? Yes, I think it is and here are the main reasons...The BASEUS certainly exudes the appearance of a £25 device as it's quite beautifully constructed and oozes quality. I may be wrong but I am not aware of a hub like this that can deliver a massive 100W power throughput (provided your computer/laptop supports that, mine doesn't) - that's still impressive, even if it's not unique.There isn't a plethora of connecting ports on this hub, with some hubs cramming in a dozen or more connection options these days. There are only four ports on the BASEUS. Having said that I do think that the ones included would meet most users' requirements on a daily basis. There are two standard USB ports (one is a USB 3.0 and the other is USB 2.0), and a very good 4K capable HDMI out port (which works extremely well). So that's about it as far as the ports are concerned.I tested all the connections with the exception of the 100W power port because my laptop isn't capable but I have no reason to doubt the facility as this is clearly a well made product and everything else worked fine. I was particularly impressed with the HDMI out port and it was a cinch to channel my laptop image through to a television. The two USB ports seemed fine although I am not sure why they decided to make one of them a USB 2.0 interface, as my understanding is that USB 3.0 ports are backwardly compatible anyway.I was a little puzzled by the 'hole' that sits on the top edge about the ice-blue LED panel. I peered into it expecting something to be going on in there, but it just looked like a hole, plain and simple. Then my rapid-fathoming brain whirred into action and I shoved the BASEUS USB-C plug into the hole... so it's just a USB-C parking lot! Again, quite novel and never seen before by me.I questioned the price of the product considering that it only has 4 ports, but on reflection I think that the design and sheer quality of the BASEUS fully justifies the price tag.
