These are cool sponges- applicators. They have all different kinds of uses but are perfect for applying tire shined or like the back to black plastic restorer stuff or for the inside of your car when cleaning with admiral. The ends get into the creases, crack and seems (like your vents and buttons for your radio and air control inside), as they come to a tip all along them. Sponge material is of good quality, my favorite kind that the paoes are very very small and you can't see them , the material is dense then it has a rubber-foam back that you hold onto. The only thing that would be handy is if there was some sort of an attatchment wand that you didnt have to use your hand to touch the applicator and could reach better into places. But I highly recomend these for everyone who washes their own car.

These are handy for putting tire dressing on your tires without spraying it all over your chrome wheels. They eventually come separate where the black and yellow are joined, but for the price, I just toss them and grab another one. Your hands stay clean and the tire dressing goes where it is supposed to. It also keeps you from putting too much tire dressing on the tires, which only ends up sprayed down the side of your nice, clean vehicle when you go down the road. Harbor Freight used to carry these and then dropped them. I was very excited to find them on Amazon.

I have used numerous other products to dress the tires of several vehicles I owner. Most have low profile performance tires and custom wheels.For the last three months I have used these economical but well constructed durable dressing sponges to dress tires and other vinyl and rubber trim with various detailing chemicals. The concave profile as well as the material on both sides is perfect and sturdy. Other products I have used have quickly fragmented and delaminated. I highly recommend these tire dressing sponges for their suitability for the purpose. Their economical cost and efficient delivery is just a plus. So great for the price, this is my second order of these. I'm on my second pad now with 18 left. I do my tires about 3 times a week. One lasted me over 12 applications, I still could have used the first one for tires, but it started to fray a little, sow now I use the first one for wheel wells. So overall the first pad is still in use. Shipping was about a 2 weeks a lot faster than stated, but don't count on my experience for shipping speed.

Been detailing for 10 years and have used multiple kinds of applicators. These were the worst I have ever used. The glue holding the black to yellow comes apart easily as in if you just squeeze it will come apart. Trying to apply tire dressing on a tire will shred it fully on just 1 tire. If its a big suv or truck tire it will take 2 for just 1 tire! Even just trying to use them for interior dressing or leather conditioner application was a pita as the black came unglued and kept scrunching up. And once unglued if I tried to use just the black off the yellow then everything soaked through onto my hands making a big mess. Maybe my 3 yr old can use them for arts & crafts....

I should not have expected much since these were cheap. They are "cheap". I have used 2 and the sponge separated from the backing on both with single use.

Just like the ones you get in 2-3 per package for the same price..... they are expendables anyway as tire dressing and black rubber residue mucks the applicator up pretty well. At this price use them a while then discard. Caution... shipping took a LONG time....smile.

No good. Buy a different product. I detail my cars every week or two. I was using the chemical guys sponge to apply tire gel and made the change to this product. What a mistake. These sponges fell apart and split in half on the very first use. They are too thin. The yellow portion is too hard to be of any real use.
