I bought these when I first invited people to my house for the sole purpose of playing VR; the stock, open-cell foam facepad absorbs a lot of sweat and is generally unpleasant for anyone but the first participant. With these three, I figured even if we had to swap in between people I'd at least have enough for that. Thankfully, with the synthetic rubber coating on the foam of these pads they do not absorb nearly as much, and it's perfectly fine to hot-swap between people.That being said, there is a significant drawback when using a Vive; it is no longer possible to play wearing glasses. The aperture is slightly narrower, and if you manually place your lenses through the opening the stems will bend in a way that is not good for the glasses. If you prefer to play VR without glasses, or if you have contacts you will be fine, but be aware and don't throw out your OEM pad.

Much more comfortable than the stock padding, and very easy to clean. They last long, so the chances of these 3 covers outlasting the life of your headset seems likely, as I am still using the same cover 2 years later.

These are honestly a great value and good quality for what you pay. I bought them because my husband and I frequently play some of the more sweat inducing games on the Vive eg; BoxVR. As well as we like to set it up when we have company over and it's nice to have a couple of "guest" covers.They're super easy to clean and do a good job of not feeling wet on my face like the default cover does after sweating a bit.- If you're a glasses wearer you will most likely need to trim the covers at the sides as they are the same thickness all the way around unlike the default cover that comes with the vive. Pretty easy to do but doesn't come standard.

I purchased this set of pads because I had some friends coming over to check out virtual reality for the first time. I know I can sweat a good bit while wearing the Vive headset, so I didn't want to force the other guys to share sweat all day.The default pads that come with the Vive are just made out of a foam material. They hold moisture like crazy, so they can get pretty gross after some extended play. These 3 pads, however, are covered with a soft leather (or leather-like material) that is easily wiped clean. I also found these pads to be much more comfortable than the one that came with my Vive headset. They switch in and out just as easily as the default padding, so it only took seconds switch the padding for the next player.This is a good product at a great price, especially if you share your Vive with other users. At just under $7 per pad, I think this is a great deal.

Pro: Overall reduced the sweaty mess by 100%. My son, would sweat like crazy using VR and I had to swap foam covers after he used the headset. It was unusable! These new covers breath so much better, he doesn't sweat and it's a fantastic improvement.Con: they're much smaller, so your head is closer to the VR, and this seems to impact my nose the most. I need some sort of "nose padding" now because OW my nose.Overall, good purchase.

these replacement cushions are way better than the foam that comes with the Vive headset as far as keeping them clean. slam-dunk on that. but they are really hard against my cheeks - a little bit too hard for long-term gaming sessions. I'm hoping that they will soften up a bit with use. some people have mentioned that their cushions did not fit properly - but mine fit perfectly - with absolute precision, in fact.

Nice replacement to the original that got easily soaked with perspiration. Allow the original foam to dry up while playing. I will definitely order more as this is more sanitary for multiple players. The only thing is that the shape is generic and its wider than the headset rim. When I tried it, there is a gap on both sides of the nose that I can clearly see the outside when looking down. Turning off the overhead light alleviate the distraction when playing.

As with other PU leather covers, the leather creases when attached to the vive and causes very pronounced vertical lines on your face that take a long while to go away and are uncomfortable. Can be really inconvenient if you have to go somewhere after a VR session. They also do not breathe at all, so my eyeballs get very hot after 30 mins or so. I will keep them for family members and friends to use when using the VR for very short periods. If you are only going to use it for about ten minutes it should be fine but I definitely don't recommend for 30 minutes or more.
