IT WORKED ON A 24 YEAR OLD SOMFY AWNING MOTOR
Wounderful after 20 + years of worry wartting about my only Somfy remote [still working] forgot torder a back up 20+ years ago and this new one programmed within minutes. Just press the Tiny program button on Back of original wait for a second no/jog/or jog of awning then prees new program button on new remote, wait for Jog and in my case [No Jog of awning in or out. I did have to wait until all programming had timed out about 1-2 minutes then both old and new remotes worked!! The MY button also functions as a STOP button with out any additiobnal program steps steps. My old remote Model ID TELIS 1 RTS

Easier and faster than I thought it would be
We misplaced our remote on an awning that was about 12 years old. I ordered a Somify remote thinking there is no way this will work. The instructions weren’t very good but with a quick search on YouTube for a visual it was up and running in no time. Directions could be a little clearer that come with remote.

Somfy Support is outstanding!
We were not able to get the remote to work at first. I emailed Somfy and actually received a call from a service rep that walked me through how to set up the remote. Please call/email them if you are struggling like we were. It is a very nice surprise to get positive support that resolves the issue without having to be on hold, talk to 7 people, and still not have a resolution. (Maybe Somfy can train the cable company!)Instructions from the rep included unplugging the device wait a few seconds then plug in again. Awning/shade should jump on the second plug in. The other instruction was to press the button in the back of the remote (requires a small pen or pin) then use the up and down buttons in the front of the remote.
