This bed is great, really sturdy & very easy to assemble.

The package arrived compact enough to fit in a car for easy transport.It was well packaged on opening, leaving no chance of parts getting damaged against eachother.Bed was impressively easy to assemble, with parts numbered at the joints for easy guidance. Clear Instructions, and good included tool.End product looks good and feels very sturdy. Will last many years no doubt...

this bed is fantastic value for money , when you first unpack the box it may look daunting the amount of parts , but they are all clearly marked and numbered and its easy as pie if you just follow the picture instructions , everything goes together very easy and all bolts fit with no having to ease holes or move them like some cheap kits , and i ended up with a very sturdy bed frame that looks like it will last years , all the bolts are allen key type and they even supply you with a ratchet allen key , genius , one thing i would like to add is the whole bed turns up in one box about 1m long and man that bugger is heavy , so consider someone to help from front door to bedroom , as its doorstep delivery . all in i would recommend this bed without hesitation .

Very happy customer. There were a couple of smallish problems. The first was one of the poles was misaligned so it wouldnt slot in to make the first square frame. But i use a small hammer and gently tapped it straighter and it slotted in fine, didnt have any problems after. The instructions were fairly clear and easy to follow. But the labelling on the pieces really nailed it for me, they were really good and easy to connect with the diagram. And the unique supplied tool is amazing! The company should sell them singularly because ive used it for other DIY projects. Really well made! I was able to pretty much put the bed together by myself, its was more nearer the end where i needed someone to hold part of the frame for me to put the last parts on. The slats are a good design and my mum actually wants me to make a copy for her (attaching the wooden slats on her bed - not the same one as this bed though - to a strip of velcro) making it easier for her to access bed storage. The ones included in this bed frame were well made but a bit fiddly to put on, but managed to evenly distribute them. I have to admit, at the time i was feeling a bit dubious about how much weight it could hold as the new mattress is quite thick and heavy. But ive had my bed up for a while now and been sleeping contentedly. The headrest does squeak a little when i keep turning over in bed - im a chunky lass so that probably has a little to do with it lol. But everything is still sturdy and functioning as it should. Oh and also the headrest is quite thick so it kinda works as a narrow shelf which was a nice discovery - i put up a box of tissues and a mini reading lamp. I have a clip on fan that i used on my old bed, but the frame on this new bed is quite a bit thicker so i cant attach it, which was a shame and something to bare in mind if its something thats important to you. Theres also lots of storage space under the bed too! Ive been really happy about that! The only problem is that you can only slid things from under the bed on the sides, not the end of the bed as the end frame has a bar at the bottom. It hasnt overly bothered me though. The headboard is also nice and high and well upholstered. Very comfy fabric weave and cushioning.Lastly there is one important factor to keep in mind when ordering this, is that its incredibly heavy. 2 people would need to move it. So, so grateful to the delivery guy hiking it upstairs for me. It took some welly for me to drag it from the communal landing into my flat though by myself though lol but the delivery guy did offer and warned me that its heavy. Its just over 15kg in weight. Its also very tall/long, so might bump into doorways and ceilings when being moved about before opening.In the end, i had to slice open the side of the box and just keep the stuff out, it was too big to lay it on the ground to open. Which is a shame before they packaged it nicely inside but how they packaged it made it longer/taller than 6ft...im 5ft. You could not see me....just my hands and a lot of grumbling as i tried to move it by myself - not the best idea.

This is the second type of Zinus bed I buy. The first one was the base platform that assembles like a swiss knife. Awesome little thing. Well, double little. That hold a large heavy mattress with my parents on top and often also my kids jumping. Not a single squeak over time heard from it.Now I have bought 2 of these and just finished the mounting process. What can I say? They look gorgeous and I can't see what can make them fall down at any time. The type of bed that outlives you.Delivered each in large boxes where everything was arranged and fixed, protected so that nothing could damage them. Clear thorough instructions and everything set up so that if you have 2 working hands, 2 working legs (this part is debatable) and a mind healthy enough to count to 10, you got everything you might need. Everything else is in the box.To make it simple, I am a 1.60m height and 47kg of woman and I managed to unwrap one of them, take it upstairs and mount it up in 30min by myself. That easy. If you can make a puzzle of 20 pieces, this bed is a piece of cake.The final result is a sturdy lovely bed. Not a single screw on sight. They already come with floor protectors on the legs. Plenty of storage under the bed. Awesome!For me, now... there are beds and there is Zinus. I will never spend another dime on any other bed.

Pretty easy to assemble once I’d worked out it as as simple as matching the numbers on the parts. It came with a ratchet tool to secure all the screws so no other tools needed. Managed to build it in half an hour (with ‘help’ from my 3 year old!). For the money I’d paid I didn’t have high expectations for this but was impressed with the quality, the look and the attention to detail (Velcro on the frame and slats, and a sticky strip on two of the slats to stop the mattress slipping. Haven’t slept on it yet so can’t comment on durability but super impressed so far!

Outstanding value. Does what you would expect a great base metal bed with nice headboard. I added 4 extra solid base slates to support the middle. Its now rock solid. Slates provided are good. However this now creates much required longevity. End of each slate i added, i used velco and works like a treat. Easy to buy on amazon cheap.

First I bought 2 single beds after spending days on the internet, searching for various solid wood single beds, I was little doubtful before buying but I was very happy with the quality, design and sturdiness of these beds, I found them very easy to assemble (keep in mind I am the worst person in assembling anything), but instructions, tools and pictures were so perfectly described that I assembled the whole bed almost without additional help in my personal best record time. I ended up buying the same 3rd single bed as well and now considering to buy the 4th bed.
