It took a little while to heat up all the way but this is a game changer for summer time and swimming and camping for someone with curly hair. I will enjoy it so much on my adventures. Can charge it in the car. When you have bangs and curly hair you need it straight and this did the trick.

This did not get very hot, therefore was not affective on my dark thick hair. Not worth time spent trying.

I've tried these in the past. The brushes were huge, for people with hair down past their shoulders. This is a mini version for hair like mine. A chin-length inverted bob. It works fine as a straightener, heats up fast. But I still prefer a flat-iron. My hair seems to stick to the bristles inside this brush and it has static electricity at times.

It gets the job done. I use it both on my natural hair and weaves and I personally think it’s worth having especially if you travel a lot. I’ll sometimes take it with me when I go out also.

I got this for my wife. She wanted something to toss in her work bag or purse to spruce up her hair during the day. She said, "It takes a while to heat up, but the good part is you can't turn it on by accident. You have to hold the button down to turn it on or off. When brushing it through my hair it's hard to do. It doesn't grasp the hair very well. You need to make sure the hair is brushed first and dry. I found that separating a section and then brushing it through worked better. It did smooth out the hair some, but nowhere near as close or as good as a flat iron. However, for what it is, it's not bad. Be sure to let sit out to cool before putting back in the carrying bag."

It’s so small that I can just put it in my purse while on the go.I was in a rush to a party last week and just grabbed the brush and threw it in my purse, and while my partner was driving, I started to work on my hair, and it’s so convenient! I tried to show how I use it in the video, and compared the before and after. The trick is to first brush it from the inside, with a little tension by pulling my hair down a little while brushing.Since the bruh is very small, it is not as powerful as my other regular size one, but still pretty strong for me. I do have fine hair so for people with thicker hair, it might take longer to straighten.Highly recommended it !
