Argyle Soft & Fuzzy Socks, Size 9-11, Crew Length 12 pack

I ordered the Striped & Fuzzy Socks through Amazon for Christmas present for my daughter. At the time of purchase, I paid the cost plus $8.50 for shipping and handling.On Friday Dec 16th the mailman knocks on my door telling me there is a C.O.D and that I owe and additional $2.50. I do not have cash on me and he tells me I can to go to the US post office on Saturday to pay for and pick up my package. My question to the seller is why the additional charges?I have done all my Christmas shopping on line this year because I am undergoing chemo and radiation for brain cancer and going out is not an option for me.I did try to contact the seller. They didn't respond to me.I am very unhappy with this transaction. Now what I am going to do? Let the socks go back and what?

I bought these in December 2011 when they were being sold for $29.99. I feel this was a little expensive for the quality. They keep my feet warm but they're not very thick. They feel kind of cheap and I would expect to find them in a dollar store.The colors are more vibrant then the ones in the photos. You get six different styles, the only one not in the photo has a dark bown, light brown, and tan pattern.One annoyance I did find is that each pair has at least three ties holding them together. The ties easily slip through the material and get lost.I'm not going to return them, but I probably wouldn't buy them again.

I love fuzzy socks and hate paying the normal prices for them. These are an amazing price for great socks. After buying them for myself I had to buy more for family members and friends from the holidays and birthdays.
