Love the color

As a professional designer and artist, I pride myself on having the best tools for the job. The range of colors from this company are terrific. Specifically, the brushed iron is translucent enough to be added as a subtle tone or latex several times for an opaque finish. It’s like butter when applied. However, it becomes hard almost immediately so it’s important to be committed to where it goes and how much is used. I’ve applied it in a thin line down the legs of a French chest of drawers. Stunning!

Love this paint. . It really does look like iron.

I have not tried this product yet. I will update when I do. I am discouraged that it did arrive in the tube, "paste" form. I ordered the pallete, as was pictured. Perhaps this will work. It won't be as thick, to "wax on", obviously.

I would have given this 5 stars but it came in a tube and not a circular tin as advertised. The product in the tube is more like a thin wax versus the thicker version in the tins, so I am a little disappointed.

This product came in a squeeze tube, not a tub. The product does work as described, but the thinner consistency make it more difficult to use than the product in the little tub.

The title of this product shows it to be 6 fl oz... it is NOT 6 fl oz... or I would have bought it for that price. it is actually only .68 ounces. point six ounces. not 6 ounces...

Product was purchased to go with other Prıma Marketıng/Finnabair products. All the Metallic and Opal Magic wax pastes work well on black gesso...the Metallics will work on light colours also. This product, like any of the PM/F products, should be used over a gesso of some kind...black is best...have not tried it on white or light colours.. Tinted gesso will render a different colour/tone. The Wax paste is very much wax based and the fragrance that some people are complaining about is in part due to the wax. Due to the wax base, it needs soap and warm water to clean up...it will not clean off hands with just water like some other metallic wax pastes. The product may be shown as being in a small tin, but it appears to be sold carded (packaged in plastic and cardboard) and in a tube now. The metal seal on the tube needs to be punctured before use. (Note: If tube comes without package or package is not pristine...check to see that seal is intact.) On the darker set of faces, created using Black Leather Effect FIMO, which was prepared with black gesso, the Brushed Iron Metallic Wax was applied first on most areas with finger and then the Green Brocade was mostly applied to eye/nose/mouth “T” and which shows up as an olive tinge. The knob came from Home Depot and was embellished with bead caps adhered with PM/F 3D Matte Gel and then black gesso was applied. The Brushed Iron is the only finish that was applied very sparingly with a finger.

Love love love this wax. I use it on furniture and hardware. Love the smell too. A little goes a long way!

great product.. very expensive but reliable and i love the smell of it too. but definetly the most expensive one ive seen on the market so far
