Rhapsody in Blue: Late Intermediate Piano , Sheet Paperback – October 1, 1994

Ok, this version is a bit 'easy' and does omit quite a lot of musical material, but for grade four or a good grade three, it's a great intro to one of music's masterpieces.

Disappointing version. It does not do justice to Rhapsody in Blue. By simplifying the arrangement it makes the part very uninteresting and consequently not worth playing.

It's exactly as it is described. My hands aren't big enough to play it like George Gershwin wrote it so it's good for me. There are tricks to play it like it was written but this way is good.

This is a poorly arranged version of an American classic. I was seeking an intermediate version of the original, but this arrangement isn't it. It takes main themes from the original and cobbles them together poorly.

It's only seven pages long. What this does is take the main themes of RinB and strips them down - but so much is lost in the simplification. It says "late intermediate". Most of this is about UK grade 3. It's all in Cmaj or Fmaj. In fairness, I was disappointed but you may not be if this is what you are after.

Present for an middle aged relation. She is delighted.
