I have a long off-grid camping trip planned for this summer and was looking for a rechargeable fan with good battery life on low speed. I sleep much better with air movement when sleeping in a confined space like a tent.This one claimed to have 42 hours duration on low speed. I was looking for around 30-35 hours run time over 7 days so opted for this one.I decided to test it to see if it lived up to the claims. I charged it for 12 hours using a high output USB-C charger, (the indicator showed it to be fully charged) then, noting the time, I set it running on low speed.The first time I got around 22 hours before the battery was exhausted. Rinse and repeat for around 23 hours run time. Repeat again for around 22 hours run time.From these results I'm guessing that either their claim of 42 hours is founded on nothing more that wishful thinking or the claimed 8000mah internal battery is closer to 4000mah Either way it is not suitable for my exetended off-grid camping trip and I am so glad I decided to give it a test run.I reached out to the manufacturers Customer Support but got no reply.Whilst it did not last for 42 hours or anythong close to that, if you can live with 20+ hours of run time this fan is quiet and good value

The rating is for the newer version.I got one of the purple fans around a year ago as a nighttime thing, and it's been on my headboard ever since, getting charged when it's at two lights, about every third day. But after almost a year of being run 8-10 hours every day (on low, which still moves a LOT of air) it's starting to rattle, and sometimes has to be power cycled a few times to have its normal airflow. So I figured I'd gotten more than my money's worth out of it and it was time to replace it.Okay, purple is not an option anymore, whatever, all I can see at night is the too-bright blue LEDs anyways. BUT. The purple one has silicone padding on the legs, and they're adjustable without worrying about wearing it out. The new one? It has some sort of foam. When I got the first one, it was even listed as "hey, ours isn't foam!" so I'm bummed. I'll update if it gives out quickly.

I love this thing. I originally bought it because I was a trash woman for apartments and there was no air conditioning in the halls so I'd be cooking to death!!! I'd wrap this around my trash bin and stay sooooo cool the whole time. Now that I no longer do this, I still use this fan everyday at bedtime to keep myself cool! This thing is a powerhouse and definitely doesn't lie about it's battery life. I think on the slowest mode I've gotten around 18 hours, second mode probably 12ish and the highest I'd go for 8-10 hours. Even on the slowest mode it's still super noticeable! I sleep with it on the second and worked with it on the second and it's perfect for just keeping cool! I know this is for babies but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do and now you know how your baby will feel! Nice and cool!

Fan works fine and charge lasts a long time. Only downside is the foam on the legs and the rubber caps are not durable. After a few weeks of moving between strollers we’ve lost all the end caps and the foam on the legs has torn exposing the wire underneath.

This fan was perfect I the hospital for when I had my baby. I sleep with a fan every night and knew I needed something. This was more than enough air flow to keep me comfortable without my big fan and the battery life isn't terrible either. The arms hold it in place however you wrap it and can be used as a stand as well. I did use it a couple times while pregnant because the summer was hot and I was really glad I had a portable fan. I will continue to use it for hotel stays and I'm sure for the baby next summer

I bought this for my mom. She wanted it for the 42 hrs of usage. She is happy with it. Its a bit bulky and the legs seem funny to me but she enjoys it and uses it whenever she leaves the house. She uses it in the house as well. She says its quiet on speed one and has decent air flow. All in all it's an ok fan but she really likes it for the long battery time
