I love this product it actually works

I was excited to start taking a supplement formulated specifically for women on oral contraceptives as I’ve long been aware of the link between reduced vitamin and mineral absorption and oral contraceptives. However, after closely reviewing the additional ingredients I have decided not to take this supplement.I’m concerned about the inclusion of DIM, or diindolylmethane as the research on this ingredient is divided as to whether it promotes or blocks estrogen in the body. Since I’m on the older end of reproductive age, I don’t need a reduction in my estrogen levels.Additionally, although the brand website talks extensively about ingredient sourcing and purity, there is no information available on where they have obtained any manufacturing standards certification, where the ingredients are sourced or where the supplements are manufactured. I respect this is a smaller business and that many credentialing programs are expensive, but I would feel better about taking a supplement when I at least know where the manufacturing facility is located so I can make an informed decision on whether I think it’s a safe choice or not.

I use this daily while being on Birth control for migraines and it really helps improve my overall mood. I don't feel as quick-tempered and anxious. Must take with food or I get an upset stomach.

I am taking this on the recommendation of my doctor, for chronic fatigue syndrome. She recommended this brand specifically.It's hard to say if it actually helps me to feel better, but it does have good amounts of several key vitamins, and having been on the birth control pill for many years I'm sure I'm low on some of these.Negatives -- the pills are pretty large, and for some reason harder for me to swallow than pills of a similar size. Maybe they stick to my throat, or maybe it's the slight taste (the taste isn't that bad (nor that strong), but it's enough for me to notice). I'm not sure. They do seem to go down sideways more often than my other vitamins. They aren't as big as typical fish oil pills, at least.These pills aren't that expensive, and they replaced a few of the other vitamins/supplements I had already been taking, so I will keep taking this for a while. Hopefully they're helping.UPDATE:I'm not sure what, but something in these vitamins started making me extremely nauseous, so I had to stop taking it. This has happened with other multivitamins too, I must be sensitive to one of them. I am not removing a star for this, however, because it does not change the quality of the vitamins themselves.

This product was recommended by my dr to help with my hormones while being on BC. It has been a great help with controlling and getting my levels back to normal!
