I purchased this fan for use with my dog kennel. So far, I’ve only had it for 3 days, but I am very impressed! I used a DeWalt 5ah battery to test it. On a full charge, I left the fan run on high speed. I was going to let it run until the battery died, but after 15 hours, there were still 2 bars of life left on the battery, so I gave up and turned the fan off. On low speed, you can barely hear the fan running. On high, it still is not loud, and throws a nice breeze for use with the kennel. The flashlight mode works well too, and with 3 brightness levels, it throws off a nice bright light. I don’t like having to hold the same button that operates the fan for 3 seconds to operate the light, and switch between brightness levels, but it does work fine. Wish there were 2 buttons, one for the fan, one for the light.I dropped one star because the remote is junk. It will ONLY work consistently if you are using it from in front of the fan. If you are at the side, it only occasionally works, and if you are using it from the back, good luck! Even from 1 foot away.Overall, so far, I am pleased with this fan.

The size, durability, and longevity of the fan was great, but it didn't have the cfm I was expecting for use outdoors. This is a great personal fan for a desk, or maybe an enclosed cab machine, or even to be handheld on the beach. But I was using it on my golf cart in the hot sun, and it wasn't strong enough to reach me from about 3 feet away.
