The next best thing to bring there!
I found this whole book a fascinating look at the Memphis scene in a tumultuous time period. Having been too young to experience these events when they happened, Mr. James really helped piece together the happenings of the year and the events behind them. This was a great addition to my wrestling library. The hard work and research is much appreciated. I cannot wait to read the 1978 edition.

A very well-researched and written account of the Memphis Wrestling scene in a pivotal year that saw an innovative promoter named Jerry Jarrett win the Battle for Memphis over his longtime boss Nick Gulas. Mark James does a great job chronicling the drama both in and out of the Mid-South Coliseum ring and interviewed many of the stars and personalities who took part. A great primer for anyone interested in the history of Memphis Wrestling!
