11 lb Bag Bulk Pack Crystallized Ginger Cubes 12-20mm

I used crystalized ginger for baking

Packaging was excellent, as was the timely shipping. I was quite disappointed with the quality of the ginger, however. It was not as fresh as I thought, and there seemed to be way too much sugar, so much that it took up quite a bit of the weight. In other words, I did not get 11lbs of ginger.

I'm very grateful and appreciative that I can get this product at all. It is better than sliced for adding to cooked and uncooked dishes. Spices up the potato salad nicely, plus salads and fruit salads that might otherwise be bland. I've dropped a few chunks into some soups too, as a nice taste surprise. It has a nice bite without being fibrous like some sliced gingers. I did rub off or shake out about an eighth cup of sugar and added it to cinnamon powder. I would have given this five stars for functionality and taste when the seller decides it does not need added sulfur dioxide, and next time I will look for a similar product without sufur dioxide. but then again, I use it in such small quantities I'm not going to make a big fuss about it either :-) You might, for raw out-of-hand eating, prefer the higher heat sliced ginger, if you don't mind the slight chewiness due to the fibers. Keep in mind, that once you open the bag, the sugars start to collect moisture and it becomes even better, imho.

product arrived in a vacuum sealed bag. I am very happy with the product although it had no definitive branding attached.

I live them I add them to every drink from teas,sodas & yes mix drinks.

The ginger was moist and delicious when it arrived! By storing it in air tight containers it's maintained that moistness despite being stored in cupboards in the garage. I'm down to the last container and will be getting more!

Awesome. Large, soft chunks. Perfect for enrobing :)
