Excellent, well made fan
This is a great fan. It is well made and very sturdy. I mounted it to a brick wall on my porch and it does great. You should understand that this fan is commercial grade. It is very powerful. On its lowest setting this fan will push a good amount of air. But it is not quiet! That's just a fact of life if you want a high-powered fan. But you should understand that you will have to raise your voice to speak over the noise this thing produces. On it's highest setting, it sounds very much like a small prop plane taxiing down the runway. My wife was a bit shocked by the noise, though she loved the breeze. All in all, this is a great product, but please be clear on what you're buying.

Good air movement
We own 2 of these fans (same model/size/source) although bought a year apart. The unit purchased in summer 2020 is significantly louder than the original unit & doesn't to have as much tilt downward as the original fan. Our use is in a workshop, so the noise is not a problem for us. This is a solid fan, easy install with good air flow results- even with the increased noise level, I would purchase again. solid value for $

I'm a fan of this fan!
This is one awesome fan! This is far above and beyond the typical fan you could find at Wally World. While the other reviewers are correct about it's noisy operation, it's not excessive considering the performance. Just like a high performance car is louder than a normal one. Unless you are trying to have a conversation right next to it, it's really not a problem. I thought I may need two fans on my back porch to battle the Texas heat, but this thing is such a beast, it easily does the job. The only thing I would change or add to this product is to be able to turn off the oscillation, and maybe a remote control...

Wow...Of The 7 Fans I Have Purchased - This Is The Best
I have purchased and installed now 7 fans on my patio deck for the hot Texas summers. Junk made in china that the electric motor bushings gave out within a year. Vornado's largest models which costs in the hundreds. None of them worked like this one. I just installed in on the patio...and was VERY VERY pleased with the operation, the quality of the blades, the blade balance, the rigidity of the screen. The sturdiness of the motor and the robust mounting hardware. All for around $100 bucks. I only 1 but need 2 for the patio. I wanted to test it out before wasting more money on junky fans. Not the case with this one. I am purchasing another right now.

Does the job!
Works well, is a little loud but does the job. Our only issue was that the color of the fan in the picture is not the color we rec'd. After calling the seller I learned that they had not updated the picture. The fan encasement, the part the blade is in, was stainless steel. I decided to spray paint that part rather than send it back & start our search over. The seller did say this may mess up the warranty.

Loud, and No air Movement
I have this mounted on the screen porch in my South Florida home, and it is going to be replaced very soon. First off, the fan is extremely loud. It is hard to have a conversation within 10 feet of this fan. Secondly, there are practically no different speeds. It is LOUD, and very slightly louder. Worst of all if you are more than 3 feet from the fan you do not feel any of the air. Quality of the actual components seems to be OK although I wish the fan would tilt more, and there is no design reason it couldnt.

Looks good in the picture BUT...
I just installed this fan and the black motor housing that's in the picture looks big however its really just a hollow metal frame around a small motor- makes it look more powerful then what it really is. I installed it on a 2x6 board and that board was mounted on my 16" on center wall joist, I do like the oscillating feature but it does not have an adjustable angle setting. I wish that I can adjust the amount of oscillating angle it does. This fan has 3-speed settings, High is too loud, I keep it at mid-speed. I control the fan power from a wall switch. I use this in my garage. It's doing the job so far, The shipping packing was very good, Its just more China crap, Not made in the USA. I will update this review if it fails within a year.

Ok
This is my second set of these fans in 10 years. The first set were well built and lasted 10 years outside. This set the motor is much smaller and the blades don’t seem to move the air as good as the previous set of fans. But it does do the job. I doubt they will last 10 years outside but I got my fingers crossed.
