Bread bags
If you are looking for a way to keep your bread soft and fresh. This isn't the product for you . Bread still gets ton of air and hardens quickly so a ziplock is necessary.

I finally got around to using them -- and I'm glad I did
Edit to review: I've seriously considered lowering my rating based on the seller's incessant emails urging me to write a review. I understand that you're a small company, but I purchased this two months ago and wrote my review more than a month ago. I gave you a review. It was a good one. Please let me live my life. I can't turn off the emails without ending ALL seller emails. After purchasing these almost a month ago, I finally got around to using them -- and I'm glad I did!I don't make my own bread (yet), but I prefer to purchase fresh bread from Whole Foods or other bakeries and hate the plastic/paper waste that comes with this.I brought these bags to Whole Foods three days ago and had no problems using them in the bakery. The woman sliced it for me then fit the good-sized load in the bag.I just finished the bread today, and it was only just now starting to show signs of drying -- but no where near to the effects of the plastic/paper bags the bread is usually in. The bread stayed nice and soft with chewy edges, and I think it could have even lasted a day or two longer if I hadn't eaten it all so quickly.Overall I'm beyond pleased with these bags and love that they're washable and reusable. The material is a thick linen that seems durable. Excited to continue using them!

Great bag! Just not great for storing bread
Good quality bag, I just couldn’t store my bread in there because then it would dry out and get hard. Which I should have expected but I guess I thought it wouldn’t.

Must have for homemade bread!
I make bread in my bread machine/maker and got these to store the odd shaped loafs that come out. I wrap the bread in a tea towel first and then store in one of the bags. Works perfectly and the bread isn’t stale the next day!

Good quality bags but they don’t work
I bought these bags for two reasons. One was for defrosting baked goods I purchase from Whole Foods & etc.My plan was to place the frozen item to be defrosted in the cloth bag then hang it up so air could circulate around the bag & the item would defrost evenly. The second was to store the defrosted baked goods in the plastic perforated bag along with the cloth bag.The put a loaf of raisin challah in and after the first day I noticed the bread was a lot drier. And by day two, it was as if the bread was sitting out for a week.I have he never had bread dry out so quickly.I was very disappointed as I hoped this would eliminate dry stale bread & soggy muffin tops. The bags are good quality and I’ll continue to use them to defrost my baked goods. But using the plastic & cloth bag to store my baked goods is not an option
