Arrived in flawless condition, rolled up in a solid cardboard tube with a thin layer of paper to prevent any inadvertent rubbing or other damage to the map surface.Scratching off the map for the first time is a fun family activity. Your inner perfectionist will come out as you try to scratch right up to the borders. I would suggest something even finer than a coin so you can get nice clean edges. But don't press too hard when scratching, especially if you're using something sharp - only light pressure is required to remove the gold coating, and the map is still paper; you don't want to mar the beautiful permanent surface underneath by being too forceful.The end result is something you'll love to look at for years to come, especially as you discover new corners of the world and come back to scratch off more.

I received my map last week and it’s beautiful. It arrived in a sleek black and white tube. And the map was rolled in a thin foam like protective padding. When I unrolled the map it was in great shape. The paper is a good quality heavy weight, and there were no frayed or curled edges.The countries are overlaid with a lovely gold scratch off foil which is set against a rich navy blue background. This map has already been wonderful for reliving cherished memories with my family. And it is inspiring us to go out and create new ones.Oh, and once I find the perfect frame it’s going to make an awesome conversation starter!

Very impressed with the quality of the map! Since the paper is a bit heavier, we set a few books on it to help straighten it out for a couple days. Once we tacked it to our wall, we were immediately struck with how rich and deep the colors were - even from further away. Scratching the gold paint off is easy and fun, and it comes off clean to reveal the bright colors below. We decided to go with this map, because of the color scheme as well as the fact that each state in the United States was outlined. Really excited to have this as continued motivation to see the world!

I purchased this as a gift for my brother. He's an avid traveler and determined to travel to several different countries this year. First off, I absolutely loved the package the product comes in. A clean black, tube that is very well made. The map itself has a great finish to it, came in pristine condition and just as described. My brother loves it and I would absolutely recommend it!
