Can't get this from the local supply store anymore. Makes about 50 12 oz bottles. comes with caps but you need your own capper. Allow to ferment for at least 2 weeks to avoid blow-ups.

This is a great kit for a first-time brewer or for someone with years of experience. High quality ingredients and great results. Got this as a Christmas gift for a friend that is just getting into home brewing. At first when he had it set up to ferment, it didn't seem like it was doing anything. Don't let that fool you. We cracked open a couple of bottles and it was delicious!

I don't like stout beer my my wife is a huge fan. I made this to see if she approved and she absolutely did. She wants me to keep this in the rotation so she will have it on hand as required. The receipt is easy to follow and come out great. Will be getting more in the future.

This was my first stout. It came out very nice. Really smooth and dark. I added some oatmeal to the recipe. Everybody loves it. Brewers best kits are fantastic. I've done 5 kits over the last few months and every one has been great.

I am an experienced home brewer with professional micro-brewery experience. I have been making the Milk Stout kit for years as it is fast to make and gave excellent results . A really nice creamy stout. I would have rated it 5 stars.Last May I made this kit again and when it finally was ready after 8 weeks of bottle conditioning , I was surprised to find a huge difference in the taste. It tasted much more bitter than it ever had in the past.Checking the ingredients I found major changes. They replaced the Special Dark LME with Dark LME and made major changes to the specialty grains. When I look at all the changes, based on my 30 years of brewing experience, I would have expected them to increase the bitterness and they do if the batch I made is any indicator.The resulting beer now has a burnt musty flavor and lost that delicious creaminess that it had.I will not make this again.

I love this one. It was a little difficult the first time. The instructions are a little confusing, but I just brewed by second batch last night and it was much easier this time. It turned out absolutely wonderful though. Love it.
