Absolutely lovely
I must admit I wasn't expecting anything good when I ordered this but it absolutely surpassed my expectations, the beef was so soft it melted in the mouth and the puff pastry on the top was perfect, the kids even loved it which was a shocker

Tasty, but mostly pastry crust.
The beef-steak & gravy filling is tasty, and crust tastes crispy and fresh, but this dish is mostly a bunch of bread. It says 'serves 3' which is a little misleading. I ate a small section of the crispy crust top and the entire (small scoop) of beef filling, which tasted good, don't get me wrong! - but then threw a mound of leftover pastry crust into compost bin - which was the larger portion-- I am not a huge eater. Prolly a great single serving dish for someone who really loves pastry crust.

Bought this as my Son wanted steak pie and previous ones tried very dry. This needs a bit longer to cook than indicated and benefits from being turned down towards end of cooking. Lovely chunky bits of steak and nice sauce and flaky pastry. Not too large, would say probably suits 2/3 persons. Would buy again.

Children love it
I just wish it didn’t have seed or palm oils. It’s a quick and easy lunch or dinner. Serve with a side of beans and some peas.The children love the gravy insideCheap and cheerful

Dry and tasteless and hardly any beef

Seasoning absent presumed forgotten
I enjoyed the puff pastry top (I always add BBQ sauce to it and eat first) however it quickly went downhill after that. The filling has very little flavour and definitely no seasoning or anything else was used to improve the flavour. Finally the base...thick and soggy. Summary - this is a miserable excuse for a pie.
