Great heavy duty razor. I would rate it as a medium aggressive razor. Very well made and the fat knurled handle makes it easy to grip. I have a vintage Gillette Tech that is a mild razor and a manscape plow 2.0 that is much more aggressive. This has become my favorite. It is well made and will last a lifetime. Great value at the price and is similar in construction to razors costing much more.

I have been a double edge safety razor user for 1.5 years. I have bought many razors from adjustable, open guards, and everything in between. This razor is a great middle ground razor. The gap between blade and guard is great. I use 2 main types of blades, Astro and feather. The feather blade paired with this is magic. I was about to give up on using feather blades because I couldn't find a razor they worked well in. Then I paired with this razor and they are a perfect match. I am a long handle razor guy and this handle is perfect and the weight is very nice. This razor appears to be well machined and will be a razor that will last a long time.

Not going back to disposable razors after this. I thought I'd nick myself every time but it only took using it once to get the hang of it. Its so pretty and the weight makes it seem like a quality item from the 1930s. It's insane how much money I'm saving not using disposable razors anymore. I wish I learned about safety razors sooner. If you get this razor, make sure to pat it dry and store it outside of the shower after every use.

I have to shave daily due to my job. I am Italian. I have extremely thick facial hair. AND I have extremely sensitive skin. I have tried almost everything. I have waisted thousands of dollars over the years on cartridge heads that destroyed my face daily. I have tried multiple brands of $300 electric razors and replaced the $65 heads weekly... I have tried it all and still COULD NOT GET A DECENT MORNING SHAVE. I thought I tried it all, But I never tried a safety razor…. WHY????? I just don’t understand why it took me 25 years of shaving and being miserable every day to try this. I have NEVER gotten a good shave until now. I can honestly say that I look forward to shaving every morning. It is a pleasure. When I’m done shaving, I still have a hard time accepting that I’m not bleeding all over the place and in pain. It’s surreal to me. To go from spending tons of money a week to spending $8 and getting 100 heads is still hard for me to believe. IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED A SAFETY RAZOR YET, DO NOT WAISTE ANOTHER DAY! I've used 3 or 4 single blade razors before and this one is one of the best. I like the perfect curve of this blade to minimize the cutting yet cleaning the blade is very easy to do. It feels great in the hand to and looks very modern!

Five stars for the razor head; it protects from blade edges.1 star for the handle; it’s slippery when wet. I replaced it with another handle.

This is a good safety razor and beautiful! No nicks, no red spots, and very smooth shave. It has a good grip; however, the weight is mid heavy in compare to other razors I have by my sink. I think this is made of aluminum and for that reason is lighter than other heavier metal razors. The razor blades seems OK and they offer you a close decent shave. I have sensitive skin and got no irritation.

I never used one of these before until now. All I ever used was the Gillette ones and they’re so simple and don’t have to worry. This thing, as much as I always wanted one, I finally get one and I don’t feel comfortable having the blade so close to my skin. I’ve done several shaves and I feel that I never get as close shave as I do with the Gillette. I can’t cut in random directions as I did with the Gillette. I even miss some strands too by the time I think I’m done and I feel I get more of a razor burn with this than the Gillette as well. I’m not a shaving expert though. I don’t have a giant beard like most people do. It’s patchy and not thick. I’m sure other men are better at shaving than me. I’m giving it a 4 because the quality is extremely fine. Completely metal, no loose components. Nice and heavy too with a great balance.

Has a nice weight to it, get a nice clean shave using Astra blades, the blades that come with it aren’t the greatest. The razor itself is fantastic, feels of decent quality, looks great, and gets the job done
