Great picture quality. I would recommend. Also, if anything happens their customer service is great to work with and very helpful.

The media could not be loaded.  Overheats when in the sun at 90c for two hours. Had to shut off for 20 minutes for it to cool off. The quality of the video is awful, not FHD 1080p quality!! See the attached video. Date stamped on video had not been set to current date. Constant video corruption stating memory error. That's if you're luck it will warn you. I reviewed some clips and it was corrupted and never received the warning. Hopefully that's not when you will need the video!! Kinda defeats the purpose of having dash cam for those important moments. Formatted the Micro SD drive that came with it as instructed, and used my own, same issue. Instructions are good and very easy to use. Too bad the product is garbage.

It has clear video and easy to operate. The manual that comes with it also helps.

The reliability of this camera is very hit and miss, but the company is VERY easy to work with when getting it replaced (very fast). Once you DO getting a working camera, it's not bad. Keep in mind this has few features and is very basic. If you're on a budget, I guess this would be acceptable.The video quality is okay -- what I'd expect for the price. Low light visibility was actually quite impressive. If you don't care about features such as GPS and if price is more important than clarity (something is better than nothing), than you might be satisfied with this camera.Would have been a 4 star camera if I didn't have to go through several defective cameras to get a working one -- but the seller/manufacturer were very easy to work with!

Followup, bought July 27 2017Camera did fine for over a year, but died after about 13 month (red power light still on, no picture, won't reset).Did fine while it lasted, started up every time, shut down shortly after power disconnected.Looking for the warranty now, but I am sure it expired.Original review:Well-built, feels like a nice Sony digital camera with quality buttons and properly fit and finish around the TF (microSD) card slot and power connector. Uses older "mini" USB connector, so if you have a hard-wired connection keep that in mind.Been using it for a couple of weeks now. I initially had video recording interference, but after switching out my own mini USB cord with the one in the package, and rerouting it away from other wiring in my headliner I got crystal clear video.I had the Dashcam G1W before, but it never worked properly, was of poor quality in fit and finish, and never started properly and many times had to be reset. For the same price this one is head and shoulders above it in quality (and already included the micro SD/TF card!).As good or better than dashcams at twice the price!I recommend you turn off the parking monitor, it would come on whenever we closed or opened our car doors so kind of pointless.If I start encountering problems, I will update this review

This thing out the box is beautiful and when you plug it in the picture looks great.... It's not untill you try to record that causes the problems... The screen flickers between night and day mode when I checked all settings and then reset to defult settings and still did it as soon as you start recording..then I checked to see if it was just the screen and wouldn't transfer to the video so I played on computer and low and behold... It was messed up and recorded the flickering yellow collor.

after having a bit of a problem with my first unit customer service sent me a new unit had it delivered on sunday. charged the battery and worked just fine. i am very pleased with this dash cam i think it is top of the line.can't say enough about the customer service.
