I still don't know how to solve it
I decided to buy a new rubix cube as the ones I have purchased in the past have gone missing. This thing is a lot of fun.Unlike the name brand rubix cube, this one comes with no stickers, eliminating the minor annoyance you would get from stickers peeling off. Additionally, it rotates like butter. The ones I have used in the past typically require some force, or get stuck mid turn. If you're into speed challenges, then I'd definitely get this. One complaint I have is that my cube came with some minor scratches on it - as though it were already used. I'm fine with that. Overall, it's one of the better cubes I have purchased.

Please don't be a used cube...
I'm not a hardcore speedcuber, but in the year since I've learned how to solve these things I've gotten my solves down to under 90 seconds - and a large part of that is having a good cube. I have a favorite that gets the most use because, at $15, it's got smooth turning and corner-cutting that I didn't have to adjust, but I like to have other around for variety, travel, etc. This one attracted me with the unusual color scheme and textured block surfaces, neither of which disappointed.Out of the box, it's a little stiffer than I like, so I had to adjust the spring tension manually by going in with a screwdriver, but that's a common first step with 90% of cubes, and only necessary if, like me, you're looking to get a full 1/4 rotation of any face with a single finger-flick.However, like another reviewer noted, my cube came with lots of scratches already on it. I don't know if these are just unavoidable manufacturing/shipping defects that the dark plastic is more prone to, but I'm gonna hope so, because the idea of someone having used it before makes my germaphobe soul feel violated on the deepest level. I tried to get a photo of them, but it's the kind of thing you need to be in the right light to see.
