Product was packaged well, box inside a box. Everything was bagged. No damage. Setup is easy, screwed together no problem. Very sturdy metal heavy duty, and chains have a nice weight to them. Time will tell if it hold up to weather but I plan on moving to the garage when not in use. I don’t think it’s too heavy to make it hard to move around and travel with. I might go for a bag for transport.Update: Found that MVP makes a sound barrier sleeve that fits this basket and their other models as well. Works great to reduce sound and looks nice too. Basket still holding up great! Glad I went with this one!!

The media could not be loaded.  I’ve been using a fold-up Innova DiscCatcher for 10 years and decided to take my backyard practice to the next level. This basket was the clear #1 among the forums and reviews I consulted and it does not disappoint. Went with the HD Pro for added weight, durability, catchability. I see no difference from what I encounter on an actual course. As reviewer JW noted this is a LOUD basket given the weight and number of the chains, so I followed his awesome advice on muting it given how close my neighbors are. For $10 I ordered a 1 1/2” black 6 ft pipe insulation tube on Amazon, and cutting the length a bit this perfectly fits over the pole (as shown in photo/video). Looks like it was part of the basket, and crucially, that fits in the inner ring of the chains with a few mm to spare. Thrilled about this purchase and the simplicity of setup - do recommend the insulator for those playing in close quarters. I could see taking this portably out to a field with friends but went with this ~45 lbs and no case for home use and the feel of a professionally installed basket.

I think you would be hard pressed to find a better basket at this price point. I also think the only basket you will find that is better would be a full fledged permanent course basket for 400 to 450. Everything looks good, solid, and well built. As long as you take care of it, the basket should last for many years. As others have commented, mine did have a little damage from shipping. I don't blame Amazon. I think the packers should use a bit more cardboard or even some pine boards to help secure and reinforce the box. Mine didn't have enough damage to want to ship back.I was very happy with it and started putting right away after assembly. You have the bottom stand, two pole pieces, the basket, the top ring with chains attached (chains cannot be removed without bending/cutting something), and the top screw cap. They pole pieces thread into the base, and each other. The cap, and each pole tighten together to hold the basket and top ring in place. Easy to assemble and disassemble in a matter of minutes. All pieces and parts fit inside the basket. It also comes with the 4 hook pegs to stabilize the basket. They are not needed on flat ground with a small breeze. If it gets gusty, they may come in handy. Also, I would recommend adding a few layers of electrical tape on the bottom 5 inches of the top pole piece where the chain rings are located. After a bit of use, I could tell that the paint/powder coating would eventually get chipped away. I plan on making a big carry bag for protection and make it easy to transport disassembled.

The product arrived promptly and in good condition. Setup was fast and easy such that the instructions aren’t even necessary. I immediately set it up in the back yard and measured out some tester lengths.Throwing in on this basket feels just like throwing in on any maintained course. The chains catch nicely and the weight of the basket is enough that there’s no wobble if you run one with some juice from 60ft out. I may mount a pair of wheels to make repositioning a bit more convenient but it’s light enough that just shlepping it into the car and out at the park isn’t a big deal.If you’re considering any basket for home use I can’t imagine another product offering the same quality for price point that this one does. Admittedly, picking it up during Prime Day saved me a few extra bones.

Got this for my adult son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it! He is an avid disc golfer and was amazed at how heavy and well made it is. Yet, it's easy to dismantle for transport. Being both black and silver also gives it a cool look.

The basket itself gets a 5 Star rating as it is exactly what you expect for the price. It is sturdy and should last as long as you need it to. I can forsee it rusting so I wouldnt recommend leaving it outside, or maybe put a tarp on it to cover. I found a grill cover works best, but doesnt fully cover it as this thing is like 4 and a half feet tall. It seems easy enough to install, but make sure the chains are aligned when installing as I kept having to undo the top portion to lift the chain section to move a chain to correct location. Id say it isnt as portable as one may thing as it is tricky getting the chains right, but if you assemble the top portion first, then just drop the top section onto the basket section, the chains should already be aligned and will make installation easier, directions does vaguely mention this but didnt make sense until you fail to assemble it a few times.The company doesnt properly package this so expect some scratches, maybe dents. Mine arrived with minor almost unnoticeable scratches and box has cuts in it. It assembled correctly and is level so cosmetics arent affecting functionality. It will get abused anyway. Just make sure it isnt damaged as all negative reviews are for the seller not packing this correctly which is a correct statement. Needs more protection as it is just inside a box with barely any padding or protection.

Excellent quality material, very sturdy. Simple to assemble. Totally satisfied with this transaction.

Worth every penny! Very loud, so highly recommend the MVP silencer, which I bought and works great, or a home-made solution to subdue the noise.

Got this basket to practice putting and aim. Basket is sturdy and well made. It was super easy to set up and so far has been great. Only downside is that it's not really "portable" as it's quite heavy and not really meant to be assembled and disassembled all the time. It's best used in your own space and not really made for travelling.

Great quality. Base is sturdy but could be a little beefier in terms of thicker metal. Overall I’m very happy with it.
