Worked excellent for its purpose
I have a rental and for the last several years, the deadbolt would not latch. I tried a regular file, but it needed more than just a little adjustment. I saw this on a youtube video as a recommendation for this purpose. I used it with a mid quality wireless drill and it worked extremely quickly and with only a little elbow grease needed. It took about 20 seconds or less to fix what I could not with an hour of filing. Best of all, it did not show any wear for what I did. If you have a new house, you can expect that you may need something like this at some point.

It works as described
I used it a few times with my 12 volt drill and worked perfectly. I had used for years a cheaper 3 dollar one from the home depot, and the difference in the bite is really noticeable. Because is so sharp I think it actually works better at lower rpms. Great product.

Effective, clever tool
This worked very well for cleaning out a door bolt receiver hole. It does tend to clog up and for that I dropped a star.

Great for misaligned door strikes
After watching a YouTuber use this to shave down a door strike, I was able to fix my door strike within 5 minutes of opening the package.I don’t know when I’ll ever use it again, but it was well worth the money for the one time I needed it.

Works well on alloyed steel
Needed to bore a 7/8” X 1/2 deep hole in a the head of a large bolt that was seized (due to salt water). It was wasted by the end, as expected, but it did the job! I’m very impressed with the quality of this burr for the price. 5 stars all day

A high quality little burr that does the job!
I need to this burr to widen the hole on a metal security door frame and I was able to accomplish the job in no time at all. Although the burr got very hot because it was a high-speed setting, once I had finished I was delighted to see no damage on the burr at all. Great value for money and an effective product!

Bought it to widen a hole for a deadbolt in a metal door frame. Worked perfectly with a little bit of pressure!

Worked well on the door lock hole
I saw this demonstrated on YouTube. I ordered it immediately. It worked great. The door bolt was sticking. I reamed it out with this tool on my Ryobi drill in minutes. Perfect tool for the job.

It works, but very overpriced
I ordered this for an emergency but this is VERY expensive for what it is. Usually you can get a set of burr bits for about $20...I don't feel like this particular is made of such good quality that it commands this price. But it did what I needed it to do though.

Good for occasional use
I was doing a fabrication project and needed to grind away some metal where an angle grinder wouldn't fit. I bought an electric die grinder and this burr and it worked beautifully. It does a great job eating away steel. Way better than small grinding stones which I also tried (they seem to wear faster than the steel). I noticed after my project that there are a few spots on the burr which have chipped off. I haven't used carbide burrs before so I'll admit this could have been operator error. It still works fine but I just don't think it would last very long in any kind of continuous work. So it's good value for a hobbyist but professionals might want something better.
