I have had this drone for 4 days now and here are my thoughts. First, I am suspicious of all these reviews. Many of them seem canned and fake, as if people were paid to leave reviews, or a bunch of friends or employees "bought" the item so they could write a review. I would take these (at the moment) 50 5-star reviews with a grain of salt. That aside, let's talk about the drone. The drone flies very, very well. I would suggest trying it out in a field with no trees or buildings around in order to get a feel for how to use it. After you get a feel for it, you'll find it is very responsive to your touch and control. It works best in little to no wind. There is a land button on the controller which immediately and safely lands the unit. There is also a stop button where the rotors stop spinning and the drone drops to the ground. This is good if you have lost control of the drone. There are a couple of drawbacks or negatives to this drone. First, the battery does not last 10-15 minutes. Even on low speed, without the camera on, I am getting aprox 7-10 minutes of flight time before the battery dies. Fortunately, when the battery is about to die, the lights change their flashing pattern, however, that can be difficult to see on a sunny day or from a distance. When the battery dies, the drone safely lands itself wherever it is and won't respond to your commands to fly while its lights flash quickly. Second, it is extremely light - which means it is difficult to fly in even light winds. If the winds become a little stronger (think 10 mph plus) it can be almost impossible to fly as the wind will take the drone wherever it is blowing. Because the drone is so light, it cannot fight back against the wind and you will find yourself losing control. Finally, I have found that the charger does not fully charge the battery in 60 minutes as the product description describes. The instruction manual that comes with the unit says the red light will go off when the battery is fully charged (in 60-90 minutes, according to the manual) but I have not found that to be accurate. My unit has gone for 2 hours in charge without the light going off. I am going to keep the drone and order a second battery. I'm just disappointed there are no options to get the battery here in less than three weeks.

This is an okay beginner drone to start playing with. Mine had some issues when I got it, but I got those figured out. The video feed to your phone through the built in wifi has some ridiculous latency. I couldn't get mine to record video directly to the micro sd and was told to record using the phone. Well, then you get such bad latency, that you completely lose chunks of time during your flight. Also, the trim and hold functions are very good. I could never get mine trimmed out to hold its position and hover. It would kind of just drift all over the place. The motors are pretty weak. When you start to move in a direction, the drone will lose altitude pretty quickly and is very slow to turn or bank. There really isn't any warning to when the battery will die, it just kind of lands itself and turns off. I never tested the loop function or the return to home function, so I can't comment on those.

WARNING: SHIPPING TAKES WEEKS OR MORE. I should have read the description more closely. I assumed it would be shipped from a US address so it is completely my fault that I misjudged the arrival of the gift. The shipper does state that the shipping date is long. I just missed it.I own this drone which I purchased from another shipper. This order is a gift to a family friend. It's a good starter drone which is pretty well done. Keep in mind that it's not a high end drone that costs many hundreds of $$$. If you start from that standpoint then you'll likely be satisfied with what is a basic drone with an ok camera. I give it 4 stars mostly because it's not very durable and struggles even in a gentle breeze. Additionally, it's a pain to put the propeller guards on. Controlling this through your phone is possible but you'll get better control using the pretty good controller.

I had a bad experience from the beginning because the package arrived badly damaged from shipping. Although the device flew, the camera and wifi function did not work. The seller corresponded immediately with my concerns and tried to mitigate the problem. As a last resort, we agreed to exchange the product for a new unit.I began to worry again when the return did not occur as quickly as expected but the seller quickly responded by assuring me the order was shipped and supplied me with a tracking number. The drone arrived today with greater attention to the packaging and I found the unit to be completely functional. It flew, it connected to my phone, and it streamed without a problem.
