New Balance Men's Fresh Foam X Defender Golf Shoe

I have found nothing to dislike . . . except maybe the color. White will always require a bit more maintenance, but then that is a matter of choice. The shoes are easy to clean (after a game I wipe them down with a bit of cleaner), they fit very well, are as comfortable as anything with cleats can be, and the gents with whom I walk the course now approve of my appearance and seem to be glad I switched "golf shoes. Even my dog likes them . . . spending a few minutes chomping on the cleats. What more could I ask for?

Very happy with the shoe. I’ve said this might be the best money I’ve spent on golf equipment. I’ve had them for a year now. I golf 1-2 times per week. I ride in a cart so I don’t have the experience walking longer distances in them. I am diabetic with heart disease so I have issues with my feet. All I know is that my feet don’t hurt after 18 like they have with other brands. Very comfortable for a water proof style shoe. I tried them on in a store before buying and found that I had to go up a 1/2 size from what I typically would buy. My buddy bought the same shoes and has said the same things I have said. The tongue is thin but I like the fact that it doesn’t twist or ride on the top of my foot like others have. I don’t want to take them off after the round.

The shoe fits perfectly, very comfortable. I walk when I play so it is important to have a golf shoe that fits perfectly. I am a size 15 and it is hard to find a golf shoe that fits without spending over $100. Only reason I gave it a 4 is this is my second pair and I feel they should last a little longer before my feet get wet.

I bought these because the price was right, they were water proof and the cleats were interchangeable, I always wear adidas so first time wearing NB, they were a little tighter then I was used to, even after breaking them in, I’d say go a 1/2 size larger, cleats were easy to change and they were in fact water proof, I like em they look good and do what they say they’ll do. At this price point I was very happy with my choice.

First I must mention that these run true to size. I ordered a 1/2 size larger based on reviews and Amazon's size recommendation and they were too large. I've always wore Footjoys but decided to give this brand a try. Overall, they were comfortable. I did like the thinner, slicker tongue and the way it flipped forward. This made tightening the laces and shoe removal much easier. But wonder if some of that attributed to heal slippage. Footjoys have a notched heal. I read reviews that said these did. Not sure if New Balance changed the design since those reviews but they DO NOT have a notched heel. I feel the notched heel prevents heal slippage and provides better heel support. I walk eighteen three times a week so good support is imperative especially around the heel. The uppers are 100% synthetic material. I am concerned how well the will breathe. I will be returning them. I also bought a pair of Striker V3. They did not have a notched heel but did have the traditional padded tongue. I had very little heel slippage. I haven't worn them for eighteen yet but will soon discover how well they breathe.

These golf shoes are extremely comfortable but run about a 1/2 size small . I wear 10.5 and first time wearing fit very tight and worried my toes would be sore after the round but did not have any issues after playing. The second time I wore them really didn't feel super tight maybe they stretch a little? I purchased regular size and they seem to be narrow fine for my foot I always felt footjoys where too wide. These have excellent grip on the tee box just go up a size. Can not speak to durability

Great fitting shoe for my xx wide feet. Only complaint was the tongue was too short.3 months of use and the spikes separated.Called NB about warranty replacement and they said contact Amazon seller.Amazon seller says contact NB!!!Almost two hours on phone and sent back to Amazon with a $30 "restocking fee. NOT HAPPY

I really like these golf shoes. An excellent fit and easy on the feet.

This was bang on. This shoe fits my wide feet perfectly and provides so much comfort for walking. 10/10 would recommend and will buy again.

Walked 18 holes of golf comfortably immediately upon receiving the new shoes! Great buy.

Just finished golfing, shoes were comfortable right out of the box. Course was wet today but feet stayed dry. Too soon to tel how they will hold up.

Very flimsy shoe with no support on slopes. Light and comfortable but not a quality golf shoe. Not sure with thin material how long will last. Would recommend buying a higher quality golf shoe that supports and lasts.
