Accurate, stable, easy to use, and doesn't drift that annoying tenth of a grain or so
I bought this to replace a "green" scale that would drift off zero during a session: did I just dump an overweight charge or did the scale drift again problem. The Dillon drifts far, far less and the large display makes it hard to ignore. I like that you can trickle charges through the wind screen.Zeroing is very easy. The included check weight is true to it's stated weight as checked by a scale accurate to 1/100 grain. No, I don't cut grains but I do trickle down to a grain of stick powder.

Quality issues
I've been rather disappointed with this scale. After spending well over a dozen hours (probably closer to 20 hours) working with it for the past couple of weeks, I have had one issue after another. When I first turned it on I found that it was very erratic, non-stop cycling through all the weights and the buttons would frequently be non-responsive. Their customer service tells me this is a known issue when using the AC adapter, apparently their "newer" adapters don't work well - so they offered to send me one of their "older" adapters. I agreed to use batteries first to confirm it was otherwise working, and found a frequent drift in weight as much as 0.4 or 0.7 grains. So, they agreed to replace it - but I had to negotiate with them to get a replacement sent once my non-working one was shipped and traceable (otherwise they were going to wait until they received it - causing me weeks of downtime without a scale). The new scale arrived, and as requested they included one of their "older" power adapters since they reported they had no issues with those - but the unit would not even power on with the AC adapter! I called them again, they promised to send a new one, days later when it arrived it was the "newer" style AC adapter which had the exact same issues as the first one. Through all of this they also repeatedly told me that even though the scale could read to 0.1 grains, it was only accurate to 0.2 grains. They say that is documented in the manual - I looked and couldn't find it. At this point they said "I don't know what to tell you" and suggested I return it for a refund, which I definitely am doing. I'm investing in a more precise / more expensive alternative scale.

Update disappointing - maybe I expected too much
I owned one of the original Dillon D Terminator scale for over 10 years when it finally gave out. At that time it had a lifetime warranty, so I went up to Dillon and they happily exchanged it with a new scale but now only with a one year warranty. Neither scale is considered a "trickle" scale, so don't expect to be able to trickle in some power on to the pan and get an immediate change in reading. Anyway, initially it worked as good as the old one, but now 30 months later it is starting to give me weight variations on the same load in the pan (on the scale, off the scale, back on the scale, etc). It is now to the point that each time I weigh a charge I would push the button to zero the scale before weighting the charge. But even with that, about every 4th reading, I would get a false reading to where when I replace the empty pan on the scale it would read +.4-.6 gr above zero which means the last charge was under weight by .4-.6 gr. I maybe disappointed that this scale did not last as long as the previous one, but I still believe that Dillon does make good reloading equipment.
