Beautiful color selection
I purchased these to use straight on the nails. I got the 100 jar order and probably wouldn't buy that one again as a lot of the colors are very similar. I swatched all of them and had little to no trouble getting them opaque with one try. I used gel base and top coat with a UV light. My process: base coat, cure. Apply powder with a brush, top coat cure and done. I would buy this brand again although I will probably never run out. If you're looking for a red, you won't find it here. I will also use these in crafting. For those reviews that are complaining the jars aren't all full, they explain that in the description. It's measured by weight not volume and some powders are denser than others so the jar isn't as full. You can tell a difference in the powders that are more dense and seem to have less. They are much more opaque from the get go so you use less as well. Also, there was 1 matte color (white chocolate). The rest range from shimmery to full on sparkle.

The jars aren't very good, but nice color selection
I read many reviews on mica powders before buying this. This one had very high reviews for color selections - Baltic Day does indeed carry a huge color range. But the jars were not very good - and that's where they failed in other online reviews as well. I've got one jar that definitely doesn't even look like it has the 5g. And another one that I opened to look at and the cap feels like it will break if I tighten it too much. This is the manufacturer's jar too, not a shipping problem. Maybe it's because the small jars are so... small.But at least there is enough of each color that I can make a selection of what I want and then order more of those colors later in a bigger jar. I assume those would be better.
