It is excellent for recreational use and a much better price than ...
Bought this braid back in 2011 and am coming back for more this year. It is excellent for recreational use and a much better price than other top dollar braided lines. I get out about once or twice a month offshore and this stuff has held up pretty well the last three years. Only reason I am replacing it is because it is about time to replace it and I am getting ready for a big week long trip and want to avoid any problems with my line being old. This line is ideal for trolling and bottom fishing but not so much for sight casting. For that, I have the more expensive stuff spooled up. I use this primarily on the Penn Senators for trolling and large open face reels we use for wreck fishing offshore. I have not had any issues with it breaking but I do keep all my reels under covers when not in use to prevent UV degradation and I would suggest you do too!Bottom line - give it a shot. It's a fraction of the price and has worked pretty well for me. We've reeled in plenty of big cobia, sharks and barracuda using this line without an issue.

HAVE BIG REEL TO SPOOL? Can't go wrong here......
Okay....first off the shipping was 1st rate and super FAST! The new company that delivered this package.."Good luck and hope to deal with your speedyness again."I of course got the Yellow 100 pound. BULK spool or 1093 yards, to spool my Shimano TLD 50 two speed Super Sharkin' reel. This is line reminds me of ole school Braid. Remember back when it wasn't covered in "gunk", and yeah you could feel the "weave"?How could I go wrong. The TLD 50 maxes out at something like 32 pounds of drag pressure. So even if this 100# Braid only holds lets say to 80#. I'm still ahead of the game. I was excited enough to pass on the whole Japanese lower cost Braid, on my daily fishing reports blog. Telling my readers all about it.Have not fished it of course, yet and probably won't till summer. But I'm gearing up all winter long. So, 4 stars now for over all feel and appearance and C-O-S-T. The TLD 50 hold 920 yards of 100 braid so I have some left even. Looking forward to trying out a BULK spool of say 15-20 # of this stuff, or similar.'

super strong but....
good product but i found most of the party boat captain do not allow braided line because it's easy to tangle and when tangled to other line, very hard to untangle, most likely it need to be cut.

Must get
I have this installed on my deep bottom electric reel set up and quite pleased with it's small size to strength ratio. It's small diameter allows for use of less weight to get down really deep, less affect to water currents and ability tofeel fish bites (need to use gloves with this line). Would definitely recommend this line to other fishermen. It is anexcellent value when compared to the better known brands.

Great bargin
I purchased thIs product for the price and was not disappointed. For several years now we have shore fished for shark averaging 6' down to 2' and this line has held up remarkabley well. It's is strong and cast really well. Only wish it was coated. To me this product is a better bargin than some of the higher end lines.

very stong good line
The only problem with this line is it dyes everything blue and it won't come off. I put it on my reel and I had to take it off and I can't get the blue off my reel or my hands.

Great Value and Product!!!
I ordered this braid because i needed to spool multiple offshore reels and thought I would take a chance on off brand super braid because power pro is so expensive. Very pleased with this braid. It is a bit thicker than power pro, about .53 mm vs .43 mm but very limp like power pro. It looks and feels very similarto offshore anglers magibraid, i wouldn't be suprised if it came off the some factory line. I ran a small test with my bow scale and come along winch and the line never failed, knots included, until beyond 80 lbs force. The power pro actually failed first at the knot. This appears to be a quality reasonably priced product. I spooled 4 shimano tld 20 and 30 two speeds full without backing for less than $100.

bargain
strong and thin, recommend for trolling or bottom fishing but might have issues with casting as there are occasional imperfections in the braid that create a lump in the line. compared to the fancy packaged stuff at the local tackle shop (made of the same material) this is a great bargain.
