Old fashion large Christmas lights , assorted colors and the lights are bright

If you want these type of lights then these are it. We have had a few lights go out (odd mainly orange) and one box of seven had a busted bulb - oh well (long way from China.) You have to screw in the bulbs but take your time so you don't cross thread and break the bulb at the base - no big deal. Large, bright, throw back bulbs Thumbs Up

One lightbulb was burned out. Otherwise these are the real deal! I can’t wait to re-light the outdoor Christmas tree wall hanging my Dad built when I was a young child.

I've hung the lights and use them daily for brightness and just a good feeling, it reminds me of years ago growing up! They are affordable and a nice quality for plastic. I have a motif on the wall and the bulbs getwarm to the touch but not the wall. Really nice year round.

Like many reviews said, the bulbs get quite warm. When I measured the current used by a string of 12, it was 1.5 amps! so 180 watts. Nowhere on the packaging does it claim they are LEDs nor on the enclosed paperwork. The ONLY place it says LED is on the Amazon website, so that is an untruth. They are pure and simple old fashioned incandescent bulbs.

These bulbs when lit are a very pretty reddish purple and they're fairly bright. The only problem I have is that they are extremely fragile. They arrive in a box with the bulbs and wire separate. One of the bulbs was broken before I opened the box and on bulb was broken while stringing them up. With these kids of bulbs breakage is part of process there is no way to avoid it. With these bulbs being a unique color finding replacement bulbs locally is impossible. I really wish they had included a couple of extra replacement bulbs. I don't know if I will use these bulbs next year because of the breakage problem. Very pretty though.

They blended in with my other lights.

We are so impressed with the quality of these lights. We had some older sets that were burned out and we always decorate our facility railing with the older style lights. The new sets matched perfectly (as you can see by the photo) they look the same and same brightness and colours. Very happy with the purchase and prompt shipping was great!

Lights are wonderful just like the ones from the 50s and 60s, very retro look! Only issues I had was you can only have to strands plugged into eachother at a time, had to think about how to run them with extra extension cords. Other then that well worth the money!
