I just loved this bathroom throw rug until I washed it in the washing machine. Washing instructions were followed. This throw rug fell apart in the washer and made a HUGE mess in the washer. The strings and thread used to make this rug came out in the washer making a big mess with strings and the thread. I'm even worried this didn't cause something to plug up the filter or something in the washer.

It's perfect in my beach-y bathroom! Goes well with the matching waste basket I bought at the same time, too.

Stylish, very good quality for price. Goes well with any “beachy” decor.

After using it for about a week or so it was dirty, as white bath mats would be. I followed the directions on the tag and washed it in cold water on the gentle cycle and by its self.When I got it out of the washing machine it was shedding every where!.The picture of the floor was just from me opening it up and gently shaking it.As you can see it was ridiculous how much fabric came out of the rug. 2 of the pieces were large picks or pulls that I had to actually cut loose.This rug cost way too much to have this happen from a simple washing.I hate to see how much comes out the next time. After a few washings there's not going to be anything left.

Really disappointed in this bathroom rug. The set is beautiful but after 1 wash of the floor mat the thing just unraveled.
