General Oil 1600 11V-R Gar-Ber Spin-On Fuel Oil Filter

I bought this to replace a FulFlo FB4 because it was almost impossible for me to change filter elements on the FB4 and get a leak-proof seal when done. The FB4 uses a loose rubber gasket that slips around, squishes if too tight, etc. The Gar-Ber is altogether in another league. It is perfect, at least so far - installed with same size nipples as FB4 in same space, the filter screws on just like an auto filter element. No loose gaskets to fool around with and no need for gasket sealer. Wonderful improvement. I no longer dread having to change the filter element and check and re-check and check again for leaks.

I have had Gar ber filters in the past and this item did not disappoint. I highly recommend Gar ber home heating oil filters and from the seller I purchased from.
