First impression, Pretty good to be honest.
I was skeptical if these were any good, but they're honestly not bad at all. Only thing left to consider is longevity. Listing says 5 year warranty. If these fail in short time, I'll update this review. If I get sent any replacements if they do fail within that period, I'll update this review. Now to go in depth in my installation. It's not a common installation. I have a 3 wire system truck (brake and turn signals are separate circuits) while my trailer connector is a common 4 wire 2 way system (brake and turn use the same circuit respective to either side). I purchased one of those tailgate strips to go under the tailgate. It had amber sequential function as well as red brake function. Unfortunately it did not work for my vehicle. Apparently my signal flash rate is just too slow for their circuitry to pick it up. Makes no sense and was ridiculous. I decided to go the DIY route. I wanted to keep it through the 4 wire trailer harness for easy disconnect and revert-back failsafe. How did I manage that and keep the functionality of these? I assembled a converter harness to convert back, yes back, to 3 wire output using a Curt 2 wire to 3 wire converter. I did not want to wire into the truck harness. After testing, I was impressed with perfect functionality. These function like this as described:Brakes or running lights on and a turn signal on, sequential amber, red, sequential amber, red. Color alternates.Brakes, solid red.Running lights, dimmer red.Due to my wire harness and converter, my hazards flash these as red only. I only get amber sequential with respective side flasher.Works great. Fit nicely under tailgate and with their dark look, they're not so noticeable.Forget about those terrible defective/buggy tailgate light strips. Build your own lighting.

Brightness
Work great, very Bright stop and tail lights, The sequential turn signal is really bright and very well timed to show your turning intention. Would by again.

Going to work perfectly very bright and nice directional signal.

Not bad
Make sure you put them on the right way I made that mistake and had to fix them. But they seem to work pretty good so far.

Does not work. Wiring is defective
Does not work. Current applied to Brake (red) wire illuminates turn signal. Returning to Amazon.

Great Quality, Easy to hook up on a Trailer. Does Just what it says it will.
The media could not be loaded. Don't let the Extra 5th wire on a Flat 4-wiring plug get you crossed up. The light fixture shows what Each Wire hooks to. On a FLAT 4 3-wire system you have YELLOW / Green / Brown or Red / WHITE GROUND.Light Fixture to flat 4 wire- Black Ground Fixture goes to White Ground Trailer wireNext wires have to be flip flopped depending on which side of the Trailer you are working on.- Red Brake Wire goes to Yellow Trailer Wire on Left side of trailer- Red Brake wire goes to green trailer wire on Right Side of the trailer- White Wire Fixture goes to Brown/Red wire on Trailer Wire Taillight/Brake (on both sides done the Same)Next wires have to be flip flopped depending on which side of the Trailer you are working on.- Yellow Wire Fixture goes to Yellow Wire On left Trailer Wire LEFT SIDE- Yellow Wire Fixture Goes to Green Wire trailer wire on the Right Side. You see you will have the Yellow & Green wires involved 2x to make both the Red of the Brake light and the yellow tracing flasher to work in the light. you can see in the video far left side on the Fender.

Doesn’t work for American vehicles
The quality of the product is very good hooked up to a battery to test it it illuminates very nice. It works as it should except for you cannot hook it up to an American car because American cars have a four wire system and this is a five so without rewiring Your trailer wiring on your vehicle it will not work. There is no wire to hook up to for the signals to illuminate its own color. If you tie them in with the other wire them things don’t work as it should.

Took a bit to figure out but they work nicely.
I ended up having to buy a converter for these to separate some of the light signals on my trailer but they work nicely. The progression on the turn signals are a bit slow compared to my trucks but I can't expect them to be fully in sync.
