I bought this product to replace the cracked screen on my old iPhone 7 Plus to give to my girlfriend. This is my first time to do this. The screen arrived securely packaged and everything I would need was there. The instructions were very detailed and the accessories were perfect down to the screw tray to help keep all of those tiny screws organized. I had one question so I emailed the company directly with the address provided on the package. I was amazed how quickly they replied. My question was answered and I was given assurances that if I had any issues they would stand by the produce and make sure I was happy.I tackled the replacement and was amazed how easy they made it with the clear and concise diagrams and step by step instruction pamphlet. I had so much confidence I decided that half way through the screen change I would go ahead and upgrade the battery. I was able to pick up right where I stoped in the screen change without any confusion. Once I had the screen change finished and before I closed to case permanently I tested the display as suggested in the instructions. It was a wonderful feeling to see everything come to life and after verifying all of my data and photos were safe.I highly recommend this product ! Of coarse working with salt grain size screws of different types was tedious having every tool at my fingertips provided by this kit made everything go smoothly.Aken , the service representative who emailed me back was very courteous and a pleasure to work with ! I truly appreciate the time he took to get to know me and make sure my needs were met. I will recommend this company to my friends and if needed I will buy from them again. I cracked my screen and bought this as a solution instead of getting a new phone. The crack wasn't too bad and I could have lived with it, it was just annoying. I wish I wouldn't have tried to fix it myself. the instructions seemed very easy but there was a part that I messed up on because the instructions were not clear in that spot (the button). When I ended up putting it all back together with the new screen, my button wasn't working. not surprised since I had issues with that part. I went a couple days with the button not working and then decided to try again and see if I could fix the button. All I did was disconnect one of the parts and then reconnected it. When I went to use my screen it stopped working completely. No idea why because the part I was disconnecting was my button, not my screen. I could not figure it out, kept trying to troubleshoot, but no luck. Ended up having to get a new phone because I can't go without my phone (with having kids and all and I work from home. Even when the screen was working, it was not the same, it would glitch and the color was off. I would not recommend this to anyone. Oh and to mention, I worked in IT - so I am used to taking apart and putting computers together, and it still didn't work for me.

Decent little kit, and I was able to fix a spare phone that wasn't being used! I will say that I wish the instructions were a bit more clear, especially for the cables. I was stressing trying not to break anything and was unsure of exactly what I should or shouldn't be taking a part and putting back together (I have virtually no tech experience and am just a silly consumer).The ring for the suction cup bent/broke really fast and the triangle picks/chips got shredded from trying to open the phone.IF YOU HAVE BAD EYES THIS MIGHT SUCK FOR YOU! The text on the instructions are REALLY R E A L L Y small!!! Would definitely prefer something more accessible next time.Overall though, it gave me the resources to do what I needed to do. Thanks :^)

Install went smooth, great quality

The product was missing the waterproofing template used when replacing the screen. I was still able to replace the screen, but the phone is now no longer waterproof.The video instruction has the camera wire ribbon hidden by the disassembler's hands as he's removing it, and has a cut scene that shifts from starting to remove to removing the ribbon, so you can't see how he removed it. This is the most difficult part of the phone to disassemble during the screen replacement.It turns out the ribbon is glued to the case. I pried in the wrong spot and actually separated the earpiece portion of the ribbon, and now the earpiece doesn't work.Replacement cameras for this model are only $10. I would strongly recommend purchasing a replacement camera at the same time you buy the screen replacement kit, then just not worry about mangling the camera ribbon when you pull it out and use the new camera when re-assembling. Trust me, it will be a LOT less headache and aggravation.Also, be aware that the screws are very easy to strip out. Make sure the screw drivers are well seated before undoing any screws.The screen itself works just fine once you have it all together. Just be aware that you will be dealing with many small parts and fragile connectors. Getting it all put back together again can be difficult, especially snapping the ribbons back into their connectors. Just take it slow and easy, and practice your patience.

I just finished the install of the replacement screen, so I can't speak for the longevity of the screen.The kit had absolutely everything needed to perform the repair. It even came with a magnetic pad with a picture of the inside of the phone on it, so you can put the tiny tiny screws in the corresponding locations, so you don't lose them, or mix them up when it's time to put everything back together.The instructions weren't amazing, but they were enough.In the instructions, they tell you to turn off the phone and to disconnect the battery. Somehow I skipped this step, and the phone wouldn't boot up after the reassemble. To get it to boot up, disconnect the battery and then reconnect it. So, make sure you don't skip that step.

Screen arrived quickly and worked with no issues. Not the best picture quality but good for the price.

I am very impressed with this kit. I tried a different brand's kit for an SE yesterday and this 7+ kit was SO much better. The tools are better quality (I borrowed them for the SE install when a screw was stripping), installation instructions are included and very good, and the kit includes some nice details. If I need a screen kit in the future I will probably look at this brand first.- colour coded tools that match a clearly labelled diagram, so no guessing which teeny tool to use and no risk of stripping screws from choosing the wrong one- colour coded diagram is magnetic so you can place each screw in the appropriate place on the diagram and it is held in place until you need it; this minimizes the risk of losing or mixing up the screws and causing damage- I found the written instructions mostly easy to follow and it was nice to not have to keep rewinding a tutorial video over and over to see a blurry picture. There was only one step that was unclear to me that I had to confirm on a video tutorial, and that was the procedure to separate and remove the cable for the home button. I first separated the chassis cable piece from the screen cable piece, used a blow dryer to soften the adhesive behind the screen cable, then separated the whole cable from the screen with a combination of tweezers and the included spudger tool.- the screen has the audio hardware attached so you do not have to change that portion, making the procedure simpler. This wasn't included on the other brand's SE screen I replaced and that was super fiddly to change.- a new waterproof adhesive strip is included for around the edge, where the front of the phone attaches to the back. It was a little fiddly to get lined up right but I'm not sure there would be any better way to do so. I used a flat side of the included plastic spudger tool to gently smooth it down. I don't know if the water resistance is as trustworthy as the original, but better than not replacing it once the phone was opened up.- the kit includes a tempered glass screen protector that is optional to use, to help prevent future breakageI can't speak to the durability, image quality, or functionality of the screen, audio hardware, etc., because the phone doesn't belong to me and is locked out. However, the screen did turn on and the display seems normal.If I had any suggestions to improve the kit I would mention to make Disassembly step 4, part 3 clearer, and, if possible, to make the magnetic diagram with a stronger magnet so the screws hold in place a little more firmly.Overall, I would definitely recommend this kit!

No fue tan dificil de colocar y funciono, solo que hay que hacerlo en un lugar muy tranquilo y sin prisa. Cuidado porquw en ciertos iphone alguna placa no se logra desarmar por los tornillos viciados que traen y asi no permite realizae el cambio de pantalla…

Para empezar, llegó sin el cristal de protección que mencionan en la publicación. Sin embargo, decidimos continuar con la instalación en lo que nos respondía el vendedor. Cuando estábamos en la instalación, el técnico nos dijo que era de muy mala calidad y a la hora de conectarla no servía la pantalla, no reconoció el botón ni nada y a la hora de retirarla, se quebró. Ya no se puede devolver. No la recomiendo, lo barato sale caro...
