I purchased 2 of the 12 x 16 gazebo's. I was forced to go this route due to local building permits no allowing me to build what I really wanted. These did not require permits. These have a rain gutter all the way around them and I have build them next to each other so we now have 24 x 16 under cover. Before ordering I read many of the reviews. Some bad and many good. The directions state 3 people to build. I pretty much did everything by myself. My wife helped me put the frame together in about 15 minutes and I finished the rest on my own. I did need her to help me tighten 8 roof panel bolts that my arms could not reach on both sides of the panel. I did have a little damage from the shipping but nothing major. A few minutes to straighten the items and all was good. I found building these were much easier then some of the kids toys I built years ago. The directions are good and the pictures are accurate. All the screw holes lined up and I had no issues on either gazebo. I now think I am going to raise these up 2 feet in height. They look great and I am happy with them. The first one took me about 12 hours to build alone. The 2nd one a friend just happened to stop by and wanted to help so we finished it in about 8 hours.

We ordered this item in the fall of 2022 because the design and size was what we were looking for. It was shipped in a number of boxes, six to be exact. When they started to arrive on different, numerous days we were nervous and contacted the seller. They responded and assured us that we would get all boxes and all parts but due to size they were shipped accordingly. All boxes did arrive over a period of a couple weeks. It was packed extremely well and suffered no damage. A big thumbs up on the shipping and the fact that they responded right away. I was not able to assemble until May 2023. I familiarized myself with the instruction, no words but a well illustrated book on the assembly process. They suggest three people to assemble this but I was faced with working alone and was able to handle it. The extra set of hands would have been welcome but I made it work. This item is very well engineered and it assembled easily and quickly. everything lined up, no reaming of holes, no stripping of bolts and all sized pieces seemed to be right on the money. A second thumbs up. I assembled the framing on the ground and with the assistance of three other able body individuals we lifted it upon the deck with out any bending or twisting. Again a very easy process since it is a very sturdy and lightweight aluminum structure. Yet another thumbs up. At this point I had assistance from one other person to set the roof panels. I highly suggest having the extra body for this step. Once we started getting things going, the panels installed quickly and before we knew it we were done. I installed our light and the screen material at the top. I am very pleased with this gazebo, from ordering to shipping to the assembly and enjoying the finished shelter. I rate this very highly.

READ BEFORE YOU BUY ,,,, I like this a great yard piece now that its up ''BUT" LOL, it was a bad day when we opened all the boxes like it said to do and NO INSTRUCTIONS just a very poor set of very bad pictures..Never had so many problems putting things together only to take apart over and over trying to tell what parts were what from the poor pics they gave INSANE. Something this big with so many parts and no Instructions really sucked.. I am a car builder , home builder, can build anything but this was a joke, for 3 of us lost tempers alot of bad words it was not fun.. Some reviews said 1 person could put together Well they lied no way can 1 person do this alone,, Mission Impossible.Now that its together we have not been able to use it the day we got it done 3 of us sat under it to laughabout our ordeal and have a beer,, it was 90 out that day but the heat radiating from the roof was way to hot we couldnt sit under it for long. Now its 110 out and that dark roof gets so hot you cant touch it OR SIT UNDER IT something I never thought of but you cannot use this to get in the shade and cool off which is what its for. We have 120 in July and August this will be not good, I have a carport with a white metal roof that you can touch sit under to cool off anytime.. THIS IS REALLY A WASTE OF MONEY TO GET FOR SHADE AND COOLING OFFSo this has not been used yet thinking of putting a white roof on it.. painting it white, or insulating the inside so we can use it, PRETTY UPSETING SO FAR

This is a nice Gazebo and a nice addition to our backyard. We have had a couple of "portable" type gazebos in the yard over the years. We decided this year to put a more substantial unit in the yard and chose this Gazebo. It was a great choice.We really like the materials; solid and great color. The unit came in six boxes and all components were safely wrapped and labeled inside the boxes. Some problems with weight per box but with two people - it is workable. With Three people we were able to build the "picture frame" of the unit and from that point forward, two people worked on the setup (off and on) for about a week and then it was complete. Now the cons...the directions are terrible- there is no Language on the sheets other than the names and numbers of the parts. the pictures and the exploded views within the booklet are well intended but not well done. We found several of the pictures were apparently out of order on a couple of pages and had to undo and redo in proper sequence. PROS- Very Glad we bought this unit. It is well built and given all the components, everything fit together pretty well right out of the box. The designer even thought of some hardware for the end user to hang "party lights" from inside the gazebo. We look forward to a very long enjoyment period with our new backyard gazebo- with screening and all- to keep those pesky insects out.
