I like the fact that it so light weight and can go in my art bag. I also like that you can change the LED settings. When working with it on the high setting it will effect my eyes, so all I have to do is lower it to a lower setting and continue working. So far I am very pleased with the light box. It was a fair price for what I got, light box and stand. I also bought a cover for it as I do not want the glass to get damaged. Thank you for your product. GTenn

I have an 11 year old that is a very good animator, she has been working on the computer with different apps.....but when she spoke with a high school teacher of animation, she was told to work on animating (the old fashioned way) and told her a light box and paper were an essential part of the process and iswhat is taught in High school. The quality of this is awesome, the light intensity can be adjusted, and the stand is sooo cool, I’m so glad I got this,.... and look out Pixar my daughter will be submitting her ideas soon!!!

Serves well as a portable sketch support. A couple bands like large rubber bands or certain hair bands) helps keep paper in place.Works okay for it's intended purpose as a simple "light box." Light coming from both sides would make it much more effective. The bright end makes for a fair viewer of transparencies, like slides. Bright enough, for at least half its width, to facilitate tracing using highly translucent materials like tracing paper.I wanted it to use like a small drawing board or glorified clipboard (without the evil clip), and it does those things well.Thin and lightweight, with all benefits and shortcomings of that. I wouldn't call it durable.

This is a nice light pad. I use it for diamond painting. It makes it so much easier to see the pattern. It's light and thin. I love the fact that for the same price as a lot of others of the same size, this one came with a stand. The stand makes it so I can do my work at an angle instead of having to strain my neck by looking straight down at the table. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product.

This light box does what I what it to do, It can enable me two trace a picture on regular printer paper. It is thin light and nice looking and with touch button control I have 3 light settings. The plastic holder is inexpensive, however it does do what it is supposed to do and even though it appears fragile it is quite strong and will support a laptop. Having this holder is a plus. This is a good deal.

I purchased this light box for my grandson. It was such a big hit with him and his sister, that I ordered a second box so they each could have one. They use them all the time. The day after I ordered the second box, I received an offer from tikteck for 20% off my next purchase. Even though I had already placed the second order, I asked tikteck if they could apply the discount to my purchase. They were extremely kind and responsive to my request for the discount. So - not only good product, but nice people to deal with. Doesn't get much better than that!

So let me just start by saying that I am an architecture student... so we trace drawings a lot and having a portable light table is really amazing and the ease of use is 100% percent there. You just plug in and boom it works the 3 brightness settings are nice just Incase you don’t want to sear your eyes at night and the light is bright enough that you can trace on so pretty thick paper. Also the light never flickered or shorted out.

I bought a similar light box as a gift for a friend of mine who I told me he's looking for a light box . It seemed to me the recipient was a bit disappointed. As I inquired if he's happy with the light box, he told me that the size and all features are quite fine... expect the "light" part. It is literary dark. Even on the highest setting.I wanted to see for myself. The description was edited that it is not suited for negative viewing etc. (we're using it for a similar application), so I ordered for myself this higher priced model from (what seems to be) the same manufacturer that didn't mention that it is unsuitable for any application that a light box might be intended to be used for.I was actually surprised on the low quality of this "light" box. On one hand being that the light emission is so dim, it may be useful for only for clear transparencies or similar applications. On the other hand, the weird "dotted" design renders is useless to any clear transparency or loosely woven cloth. You would need a thick sheet of paper or tightly woven cloth to mask the dots and equalize the light.So basically this "light" box are useful only on transparencies that are thick enough to mask the dotted design, but thin enough to let through whatever dim lightthis box emits.Go figure.
