These mag darters are great lures for just about any inshore or near shore species. The VMC hooks mean that I don't have to upgrade once I have it in hand. If you want to change to single hook i recommend either a 1/0 or 2/0. Both work great

I only used it a couple of times. I did not catch anything, which I suppose is kind of important for a review, and hence the missing trophy fish pic. But. I did like the build quality of this lure, the distance it casts, and the quirky action in the water. I got the idea to purchase this lure from watching Zeno Hromin on Youtube channel "Surfcaster's Journal". I will be getting another one soon. That doggone FG knot.... That one is on me.

One of the best lures I’ve ever used, especially at night. Snook and tarpon killer. Enjoy!

Works real good on reefs, caught GTs groupers and large snappers, the walk-the-dog action is such an attractive motions imitating injured bait fish. Love it, I keep a spare in boat at all time 🤙🏼🤙🏼

Swims well, with subsurface effects. I like how it attracts fish in any conditions. Best use during and after sunset.

This yo Zuri Mag Darter casts a mile with the magnetic weight transfer system it's bloody genius. All trebles and split rings are 3X strong heavy duty as is the attention to detail. Black/purple or burpel slightly transparent and a wicked good colour. 2oz or 56grams. The built-in bib or angled front of the lure allowes it to dive on a medium to fast retrieve. Diving stick bait... Bloody unreal
